Re: Best case of character development

Vegeta or Piccolo most likely. They're the two who changed the most over a period of time

This movie is going to stink, I can already tell.

Just by looking at the cast and the promotional posters, it seems to be on the same level of suckiness as "Fantastic Four".

With the canon series, I was always disappointed with the lack of creativity in the series past the Freeza arc. What I felt when I watched or read the series pre Cell arc, it was total and pure randomness, with a constant sense of adventure, giving you the sense that you never knew what Toriyama was...

Funi fucked up on a lot of things for the season four box set. They even had Gohan say something offscreen in one scene when he wasn't even present.

Also, call me crazy, but I swear that Brian Drummond's dub voice shows up for Vegeta in one scene. It sure as hell sounds like Drummond, not Sabat.

There was little plot or adventure in the Buu saga, that's why it sucked. Everything up to the Freeza saga was about adventure and the Dragon Balls. After that, it became exclusively a fighting series. I wasn't too fond of the Cell saga either.

Yea, I neither pay attention to or care about how US shows are preceived in other countries. I'm sure that a Japanese fan of Dragon Ball probably thinks the same.

Fanart's my gig. I draw Dragon Ball probably even more than I watch the show or read the manga. I however don't go out of my way to collect items. The only DB thing that I go slightly out of my way for is the manga. I do consider myself a hardcore fan, but even though if you look at my room, there's...

Training isn't all about gaining power, but gaining skill too.

I'll use Vegeta's Final Flash as an example. When Vegeta hit Cell with it, Vegeta was skilled enough to condense the beam width so that there wouldn't be a catastrophic amount of collateral damage, such as the entire Earth.

The Funniest parody that I ever saw was a Bush and Cheney magazine advertisment. Bush was dressed as Goku, and Cheney was Vegeta, and they were battling it out. That sounds hilarious, do you know where we could see it? If not, do you remember what magazine it was in? I honestly don't remember what ...

I'm so pissed that they replaced DB and DBZ with Naruto and other things.

They said that if we keep watching, they'll keep showing.

We should sue for false advertising.

If they were used DVDs I can understand bootlegs, therefore the actual rights don't lie with anyone. However, if they were "hot off the press" DVDs, then that's another issue all together. I also agree with Sun_Wukong, FYE is a rip-off. I'd rather drive the 20 miles to Best Buy instead of ...

Somebody should make a list of all the "lost techniques" from the series, just for the hell of it. It should include techniques that were either used only once by a single character who never used them ever again, or techniques that were used frequently in the past, but never seen again i...

Yea, you think Dragon Ball is weird with the dinosaurs and flying cars, just check out Dr. Slump. The sun talks and the coils of poo have eyes and a mouth sometimes.

The fans don't have any power, they just assume what the fans want and do it.

However, mostly they focus on what general fans want, and not what the hard-core fans do. I want them to release Dragon Ball seasons like this, but I'm not sure if that will happen.

You may also want to check out the AF " Doujinshi ". Very Toriyama spirited, almost the point of it being a downright perfect replica of his style. There's tons of DBAF doujinshi, and if we're talking about the same one, then unfortunately I have to say that I don't share your views becau...

As far as I know, the "Initial Daizneshuu" is the newest rumor on the fandom. It makes me laugh because you know that people are truly desperate to prove their stupid little fan theories when they even make up the source they got it from.
