they shouldn't be kept in. It's called a 'translation" for a reason. Most of the ones that have specific meaning are easily translatable into english, and the ones that aren't don't need to be translated. What do you gain by calling a character "name-chan" that wasn't there by just ca...

As for the rest, yes I can call it a gimmicky controller. Why? Because, from my standpoint, it is. I don't personally see the depth people proclaim it will add to gaming, though I may very well be proven wrong. Whoever says it will add depth to gaming isn't right. It won't. What it will add is acce...

Well...not even Toriyama's style is the same as it was when he created Super Saiyan 2 Gohan...look at the kanzenban covers for instance.

From the point where AT made Piccolo talk to Kami-sama in Namekian I'm pretty sure he wanted him to be an alien.

He didn't just suddenly come up with it...like, the day before the Raditz chapter go "omg omg omg imma make him an alienz".

Sparking was easy to pick up and play in the sense that yes, you could pick it up and do moves and stuff right away, but the computer would totally own your ass for a while because you would suck at it so much.

actually, doing a kamehameha with the Wii controller seems about as easy as doing it regularly, and a lot easier for someone who doens't play games. you just pull back, twist the controllers slightly, then push forward. easy. considering some might even be easier (such as Genkidama probably being &q...

Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for the PS3 would've sucked big time, because I don't plan on getting a PS3 as soon as it is launched and if it were coming out for PS3 it would probably have been a launch title, or close to it. On the other hand, with Wii, I plan on getting one of those as soon as it is release...

Here's one noone's said yet: "Manga Mode". An option to switch between the cel-shaded 'anime' style and a black-and-white 'manga' style. It wouldn't affect gameplay at all, just change colours to screen tones, and make auras opaque instead of transparent. And I'm still pulling for some RP...

Oh yeah! I was wondering if he did or if he didn't. I was thinking that even Goku wasn't such a hick to not put the wa particle in there. Haha.

However, that's probably not how most of the people in dragonball will say it! even though it is the most ordinary and proper way to say it. Goku would probably just say something like "Ora wa Goku", for instance. Edit: Yes, Piccolo would probably say "Watashi wa Pikkoro desu" bu...

The thing is, Goku has been also training all of his life. To say that Goku stole it from Vegeta because Vegeta worked hard is nonsense. Goku worked just as hard for all of his strength, just as much so if not more than Vegeta. I doubt Vegeta ever had to beat a megalomaniacal "demon" who w...

To be perfectly honest, Super Saiyan 4 is different enough from the other Super Saiyan levels to be called something else, but no, it's always been called Super Saiyan 4. If you consider "Super Saiyan" to mean "A general transformational powerup that enhances the power of a Saiyan&quo...

GT Super Saiyan 4 is based off of Toriyama's style during late Dragonball...The Super Saiyan 4 Toriyama drew is using his much improved style that was mainly employed during the Neko Majin Z stories (the later ones mostly), and most noticeably Sandland and the Kanzenban covers. The eyes look waaay d...

Thanks a bunch! Here's a few more names/terms I can't figure out: Yardrat, Metamour (those fusion people), and the potara earrings. Yardrat I'm not too sure about, but Metamour is probably short for "Metamorphosis", which is defined as "a transformation, as by magic or sorcery".

Yeah, Duo has it basically. Most people who like Dragonball should do themselves a favor and read some of Toriyama's one-shots or mini-series. The thing is, they're all great. Things like Sandland that although they're very different from Dragonball still have the same feeling of wonder and exciteme...

One of the saddest moments to me was when Future Gohan dies in the Trunks Special... Not because it's THAT sad, but more because it's so excellent. It's lik...

I know, but what I'm saying is, has Dragonball become a part of Japanese culture? To the point where it can never truly die? (like, for example, Gundam, Pokemon, or Doraemon)
