Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" On Blu-ray: News & Discussion
No, he is definitely talking about episode 55, where Vegeta breaks out of the healing tank. He is talking about SFX, not music. For some reason, about half of those are missing in this one episode. Yea :) Is it still an issue on the blu ray? Any other audio track is fine for that episode except the...

Just bought Parts 1 and 2 on Blu-ray on Amazon and preordered Part 3. Looking forward to watching the dub.

Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" Coming To Blu-ray (Updated 12/31
Does anyone notice that in the recaps on the American music track that the music is different? Different composer for the first and second season. As FUNImation went back an re-dubbed them uncut. And I think they were on bad terms with B.F (original composer). I know that Nathan Johnson composed th...

Re: Dragon Ball Z "Seasons" Coming To Blu-ray (Updated 12/04
I bet you guys wished that FUNi never cancelled those Level Sets. They looked gorgeous compared to the crap at the end of the year. As said possibly before, stick with your Dragon Boxes if you have them.

Re: Dragon Ball Z "Season One" Coming To Blu-ray (Updated 11
Most of the Dragon Ball Z fans aren't going to buy these Blu-rays as they are cropped. If FUNimation LISTENED to the hardcore fans and remastered all 291 episode in 4:3 with the 3 audio tracks (dub with dub music, dub with Japanese music and Japanese track), it would satisfy them and they would buy ...

Let's hope that the new Blu-rays are in 4:3. And I bet they will be. Hopefully.

Re: FUNimation "DBZ on Blu-Ray" Survey
Those idiots need to realise that 16:9 is an ASPECT RATIO. Not HD. The Dragon Ball series were animated in 4:3 and were not meant to be cropped. Except for the movies in Japan's releases.

Re: FUNimation "DBZ on Blu-Ray" Survey
I'm not a buyer for DVDs and Blu-rays but I took the survey and it would be best if it was in its original 4:3 aspect ratio.

Re: What are funny but dumb things you've heard a DB fan say
Just be glad I'm not one of those dick heads given that I like the Japanese, Ocean (first 53 episodes) and FUNimation versions of Dragon Ball Z.

Re: Do you think Funimation is over-selling DBZ?
I don't think they are over-selling Dragon Ball Z at all. This new release is there to please the Ocean fans, but it might be better and more complete than the Pioneer DVD Singles. But it would be nice if they had Dragon Box releases for Dragon Ball, the movies for Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z (and...

I'm not really a DVD collecter, but this is definitely a must buy. But it could be even better than the Pioneer DVD Singles Releases. Who knows?

Re: What is funny but dumb things you heard a Db fan say?
Zagon2 once thought I was trolling the Dragon Ball community when I was only stating one noticeable change in the Goku's Horrific Nightmare scene. But just be glad I'm not an idiot like these guys since I know that the manga came first and that Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z are based off it. I don't...

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" dub seems to be coming.
Peter seemed to lose his touch in the Westwood dub. Which is a shame. He was great in the movies but not in that dub. Whereas Sean Schemmel has really improved since he started. I can understand why many people like his Goku voice. I like it too. As I've said before, I really enjoyed his work as Gok...

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" dub seems to be coming.
You know, Attitudefan, you are really lucky that you met Brian. I'd be really suprised if I met a voice actor in public. And with Peter Kelamis, I really liked his performance in those Uncut Pioneer movies. Just fantastic. Not fully perfect, but great dubs. :D. The FUNimation dub of those movies ju...

To tell you the truth, Sean was pretty bad back in 1999, but after the Trunks Saga, he started to improve. His Buu Saga work was great and his work on Kai was excellent.

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" dub seems to be coming.
The only problem I had with Ian's Goku voice is that HE COULD NOT SCREAM FOR CRAP. Same with Ocean Tenshinhan.

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" dub seems to be coming.
When watching the Japanese version it is pronounced bu-l-ma (bool-mah) or some would prefer bu-ru-ma instead. But I think it would be awesome that the Ocean actors will play the characters again.

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" dub seems to be coming.
The Ocean voice actors are really memorable and it would be great to see their take on Kai. If Brian uses a natural sounding voice for Vegeta like Ryo Horikawa, we would have the perfect Vegeta and also his screams were fantastic and got angry when needed.
