My cousin is content about keeping things like they are since she hates animation of BOG and openings. I like being nostalgic, but I don't approve of bashing the new animation for BOG.

Re: How did Yamcha et al beat the Ginyu Force?
And if it's not a filler scene, I think that Piccolo didn't even spend much effort on training during those 6 days, more meditating than doing anything. So jumping from 1220-3500 to at least over 42.000 is silly. Sure, that's always been how I've preferred to see it - that Piccolo wasn't really all...

Don't count as half-humans half-Saiyans, clearly.

Goku is bordering on asexual. He has an intercourse if you promise him food.

Re: How did Yamcha et al beat the Ginyu Force?
I estimate that if Yamcha spend the same amount at King Kai's planet as Goku he could be at circa 25.000 without Kaiouken, but again, he didn't spend there that much time. Not sure if enough to beat Ginyu Force even with Kaiouken.

Re: Why are Goku & Chi-Chi the only flawed parents of the sh
Chi-Chi actually didn't have to force Gohan to learn. He was more of a scholar than a warrior anyway, he trained when it was needed rather than for fun. Nobody can blame he for a lack of foresight, as no one expected Buu.

Re: "Gotenks surpassing Vegeta and the others".
I always assumed that SSJ Gotenks was meant to be stronger than SSJ2 Vegeta, because otherwise, why bother teaching the kids fusion?

Re: Why are Goku & Chi-Chi the only flawed parents of the sh
I don't think Chi Chi herself is particularly flawed. Her impression is distorted by flanderization through fillers, though I'll admit Goku is not particularly good parent due to various circumstances.

So this not a power level thread?
Anyway, I just think other not-regular-humans are simply common enough, even Tenshinhan's people, to not be warrant any surprised reaction. Goku is likely first Saiya-jin illegal immigrant on Earth. :p

Re: Soul Punisher vs Stardust Breaker
And I go with Stardust Breaker because it is called such way in Tenkaichi Budokai 3. Just a matter of preference, I don't think there is one canon technique name for this one.

That's only rumor, that part that Vegeta ditched it because it was similar to Kamehameha. I never heard about it, and I have been watching DBZ since 13 years.

Gogeta vs Super Buu - Stardustbreaker used on the latter
Normally I would put it in general versus thread, but I'm also interested in effects of certain technique that Gogeta used to finish off Janemba without killing the ogre boy. What if Stardust Breaker (as it called in European edition of Tenkaichi Budokai 3, I don't know the original Japanese version...

Re: Overestimation of Broly's power ?
No, in my opinion, overall strength is composed of three elements of ki (I don't remember how they are called specifically). I think Toriyama explicitly stated that ki is the only way to get stronger after your body reach a physical peak, but correct me if I'm wrong On topic though. I know movies ar...

Re: How strong would Goku have been with out earth's trainin
I wouldn't be surprised if Saiyans/WTO seriously underestimated Earth. The strongest inhabitants of Earth can hide their power levels after all. I seriously doubt they wouldn't supress them, since they don't fight/train all the time.
