This looks great! The dark option is a huge plus for me.

Keep up the good work Kanzenshuu staff.

Re: Episode #0465 (13 January 2019)

I already tweeted at Herms wishing him the best going forward, but I'll say it here too: he's been an amazing contributer not only to Kanzenshuu (and Daizenshuu EX and Kanzentai before that), but to the Dragon Ball community as a whole. As someone who has been in a semi-hiatus from the Dragon Ball s...

Re: Veteran members, share your stories?

Today just so happens to be my 10th anniversary of registering on Daizenshuu EX. Figures that I'd come across this thread. XD I've become a lurker that checks the site once in a blue moon these days, but I have a lot of fond memories from when I first discovered this site back in the summer of 2007....

Re: Is Dragon Ball still your favorite shonen?

Dragon Ball was my favorite for years. From the time I watched bits and pieces of the show in 1998 and then actively started watching the show in September 1999, I loved Dragon Ball to death. In the 2000s it was my go to anime show; I'd watch Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball religiously on Toonami in t...

Re: Locations/Languages of All Members

I don't know why I suddenly felt like updating this list again after being absent from this forum for a while, but here I am. I've updated the list up to the most current post. Banned members are excluded from the list since they technically are not members here any longer. Also, since someone menti...

Re: Hiromi Tsuru, Bulma's voice actor, has passed away.

As with a few others in this thread, it's been ages since I last posted here, but I came to pay my respects. She played the role of Bulma perfectly and had so many other memorable roles in other anime (Asuna in Maison Ikkoku, Meryl in Trigun, Ukyo in Ranma, etc). Rest in piece. Deepest condolences t...

Re: General Yamamoto Rip off thread

I've always wanted to know what the base for The Braveheart Challenges the Strong was, as that's my favourite of the Kai stuff. I've heard some people compare it to the Buoy Base Galaxy music from Super Mario Galaxy. I can hear some similarities between those two, but not enough to definitively say...

Re: DragonBall Symphonic Adventure (2017)

Apologies for the late reply in this thread (I don't come around to this site as much as I used to), but that was an absolute pleasure and a blast to listen to and see. :D You can tell that they really put in a lot of heart and soul into this concert in the performance and the presentation. Re: Your favorite original soundtrack from the games.

Hands down, it would have to be this song for me:

Budokai 1 - World Tournament: Battle Theme #3

Always pumped me up for having matches in the Budokai series.

This one is a very close second. It's my favorite rendition of Cha-La Head-Cha-La:

If the Hit Song Collections count, these two are always relaxing to listen to:

Re: Does anyone kinda miss the Pre-Minus (or Pre-BoG) era?

I'm a bit conflicted. Admittedly, I do kind of miss the Pre-BoG era. As TheGreatness25 put it, "I liked that the series had a nice little bow on it." Although we did have the Funimation dub going on in America after GT ended in Japan, and had the 2002 revival in Japan with the video games (and the s...

Re: Opinions on Pieces of Music - V4!

Next: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 - Sky / Beerus' Theme Pretty decent track. It reminds me of old-school RPG music like Nobuo Uematsu's music in Final Fantasy or Motoi Sakuraba's music in Baten Kaitos and the Tales games, especially with the lively keyboard organ and guitars. Very appropriate for a ser...

Re: Opinions on Pieces of Music - V4!

Next! Dragon Ball Z Valencian Opening It's an okay unique take on Cha-La Head-Cha-La. The singing is alright accompanied by the slightly sped up instrumental track. In my opinion, the best part of it is how they mixed up the placement of the lyrics compared to the original song. Next: Power of Smile

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ6O4yvgQ3U The singer's voice is nice, and the cover of the instrumental part isn't bad. Obviously not as good as the original, but not bad nonetheless.
