I could've sworn that I read somewhere that Toriyama discarded Super Saiya-jin 2 because his editor said it looked too much like the original Super Saiyan, however, I can't find this statement anywhere.

Does anyone know if this was indeed stated, or if it's just some made-up fan junk?

Sorry if this was already stated, but the "exclusive figure" that's for the European "Goku" edition is simply the Master Stars Piece Goku from Banpresto. You can buy it on Amazon right now for $30. I was thinking about getting it a couple months ago, but the paintjob is kinda meh...

It doesn't make sense for them to explicitly make mention of Goku learning Bukuujutsu in his final attack against Piccolo if he'd used it prior in the Tenkaichi Budokai. It also doesn't make sense for Goku to improvise flying by shooting a Kamehameha from his feet if he knew Bukuujutsu at that time....

Believe it or not, I wouldn't mind an American company like Dreamworks or Universal doing it (for a CGI adaptation), as long as the character designs were at least close to the original, and the story was (if not identical) at least "Toriyama-esque".

It's a resin made (or at least sold by) by Djfungshing. But it is a rip off of the pose of the gashapon buu. Many resin figures do this.
