If you think the DB fandom doesn't get really toxic, I got three words for you: "Broadcast Audio Wars."

I still think Wendee Lee's the best English Bulma. (She's also the ORIGINAL English Bulma.)

For what it's worth, apart from her DB work, I mainly know Colleen Clinkenbeard as Ran Mouri from Detective Conan, and she does, I think, pretty well there.

Bang Zoom dubs usually are very literal. Even the Macekre ones, like Doraemon.

Animax is airing GT starting July 26 at 8 PM JST. I think this is a weekly timespot, right after Detective Conan, which I already record week by week.

I'm very open with sharing, so I'll make sure it goes up somehow. That's all I believe I'm at liberty to say here.

Probably because it's done in Los Angeles by established pros, instead of actually being dubbed in Asia.

Didn't Wendee Lee direct and script the dub of the Sakura Wars movie for Bang Zoom? I remember that being a pretty good but EXTREMELY literal dub. (To the point that a scene involving an English/Japanese language barrier made no sense.)

I doubt we'll ever see a home release of this dub, but I really hope it gets one since these cappers are totally incompetent. There's a lot of potential here to create an 'ultimate dub'. I don't want another Westwood situation where I'm forced to relive it through TV captures forever. I definitely ...

Yeah, my Usual Source® of BZ DBS audio is clearly missing a chunk out of it, as I told him over on A Certain Website® from which I generally acquire it.

Kaioh sounds like a mix of Schemmel and Yanami/Tatsuta, which works quite well. I still think Lang sounds a bit odd as Goku, but he certainly seems to "get" the character, as does the writer. I wonder if the casting director knew that Wendee Lee had voiced Bulma previously, and I wonder if...
