A lot of people praise Budokai Tenkaichi 3 more, but usually it's for the amount of characters in the game. Even though Budokai 3 has a weaker story mode too, it has a better combat system... Yes, very much so.

Mostly because everything after Tenkaichi 2-3 to me has been decent in one aspect, and mediocre to below average in other aspects. Or in some cases, decent at nothing (Battle of Z).

I never liked Gohan at all, adult Gohan even moreso, because he was spoonfed a bunch of power and wasted it. I don't really care about him being a scholar later on.

All I truly see at this point are more wasted effort, half-assed DBZ games that, instead of building upon the foundations of older games, create some kind of new combat system and start from scratch, over and over again until the lifespan of the PS4 and XBOX ONE ends.

I can't help but think that there were SSJ levels undiscovered just because Goku and Vegeta just decided to stop exploring the transformation.
