Hello all. Does anyone know of a means to strip dialogue and music separately from individual episodes? I'd like to mix Kai's dub over the original DBZ episodes. Understandably, as Kai is half the length, not all of the original dub will be replaced, not to mention any characters that have been redo...

How were you able to strip the dialogue from the music in the original mix?

If there is a means, I will undertake a new project myself. Namely, applying Kai's dub to Z.

This is ultimately one of those cases where FUNimation's revisionist history combined with their DBZ-specific home video release "quirks" (putting it lightly?) doesn't satisfy anyone. Want to watch what aired on Toonami exactly as it sounded on Toonami? Doesn't really exist on home video....

All in all, a 1080p Dragon Box transfer would be the dream. I can only imagine how the original three series would look with such a restoration.

From a purely visual standpoint:

Dragon Box>Single>Orange Brick>Blu-ray.

I firmly stand by my opinion that the Blu-rays were butchered beyond repair.

Since they’re specials, I assume the two are meant to be viewed in 4:3 only and not 16:9 OR 4:3 like the thirteen films.

I see they’ve added all the films save for the Broly Trilogy, Fusion Reborn, and Bardock. Naturally.

Would anyone be willing to part ways with their Madman Saga of Goku DVD if they have it? I realize it's exceptionally rare and I'll likely just buy the MangaUK Season 1 set if I can't find it.
