Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Vegeta's been compelling in Super. My favorite scene is still him using the same attacke that killed Nappa against Cabba, excellent scene that demonstrated the growth of the character. By far the best use of a reference by Toyotarõ Even in this arc we had his regret for his past actions. While Veget...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

There's nothing wrong with judging individual chapters, especially when you only get one a month and have plenty of time to ruminate over it's merit and whether or not you like where the story seems to be going. The response for the first few chapters was almost universally positive even though fan...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Likewise for criticism of an incomplete story. Sure people can judge what has happen so far, doesn't mean there isn't a high chance new information will change our perspective completely. Seems an exercise in futility comparing certain aspects of this arc, to other arcs that are complete. Which is w...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

I say give it time. In my opinion we just finished the prologue of the arc. Moro was introduced and beat-down the strongest characters, now it gets interesting. Will Goku go train with Broly? Will they really on Majin Boo and the Galactic Patrol plan? Maybe they'll even travel to Universe 11 and ask...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

It's not that we have too much of Goku and Vegeta, it's that we have too much of them in the same scenarios. Many of these similar too previous moments from them. Looking at it superficially , Zamasu arc, Broly's movie and this arc all share the taking turns fighting the big bad. We need stuff like ...

That date makes no sense. V-Jump releases on the 21st, they are saving the secret level 3 to reveal on the magazine.

Re: "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Official Discussion Thread

To add to my previous post about the patch, there will be 1200 changes! They'll give us the full patch notes on the 26th. We might be playing a brand new game very soon.

Re: "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Official Discussion Thread

Character patch coming on the 27th, seems everyone got buffed. There's like 7 pages of changes, too many to list.

Raw tag is now assist + down button!

It will be the only balance patch of the year!

Bandai twitting about it. Hope we get a trailer soon, but they did tease that secret level 3 in the next magazine, right?

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

I don't remember if Nail was stated to be the only Warrior type on Namek at the time though. Weren't there other Namkians that engaged Freeza's soldiers in battle and won easily until Dodoria stepped in? Nail was indeed stated to be so. In the anime there's some filler with "Warrior Namekians" but ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Is Nail the only warrior type tho? Like I thought they referred to him as their one “true” warrior type. Meaning like he's the only one who's significantly strong. Presumably all the farmer namekians are defacto warrior type by virtue of not being healer or dragon type namekians.... If the others w...

Re: DBFighterZ 2 - What could they improve

There's a bunch of things... More stages is a must. They should improve their engine to allow skins and in-game transformations to be easier. They should focus on providing installs to Goku,Vegeta, etc instead of giving us a billion other versions. Short main Story mode, with a bunch of what-if scen...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Solid chapter, normal post-battle stuff going on. I enjoyed the paneling and impact in this chapter. Disliked the Assimilation tactic, it added nothing to the story. It was Toyotarõ grabbing a popular fan idea and forcing it in. Speaking of Namekians, why didn't they enact this strategy back when Fr...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

Saw it subbed yesterday, translation wasn't great. They put Fortnite jokes in the dub?! That's just embarrassing, how can these people be this unprofessional.... No Guerreiros do Espaço or Cachalote or Satã? It uses the first two, can't remember regarding Piccolo. I can't only hear Goku saying Picco...

Re: "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Official Discussion Thread

Seems like this might be a mix between GT Goku and Early Dragon Ball Goku, that will improve things(for me) if it get's confirmed. He also goes SSJ3 if a member of your team dies, anchor character we need more of these.

It’s almost like they’re popular or something.....
Probably why the Base Goku and Vegeta pack sold the fewest amount then.
Source for that statement?

Re: "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Official Discussion Thread

If this turns out to be true I'm very disappointed. No interest in more Goku's, even if he plays differently. Game has access to a plethora of different characters that aren't in the game and they default to another version of Goku. I can't wrap my head around this.

I hope Dai Kaioshin doesn't return, instead I rather Mr.Boo to have an actual role in this.

I'm tired of characters returning or new characters, when we already have so many being underused.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

Glad we're having a subbed version, I was scared for quite a while I would be forced to hear it dub.

First time watching Dragon Ball on the big screen can't wait. :D
