It's hard to like the overall look of the movie when you see how vastly superior the Takahashi segments look. I understand that Shintani redesigns are easier to animate but all the flashback part seems pretty ecstatic and lacking action; I don't think we are going to see big battles there so I would...

Toyotaro does this over and over so it's sad but probably doesn't have another option due to his lack of talent making him unable to come up with own poses and compositions. He should be careful about who to copy, otherwise his career will be finished. Or maybe it's finished already...

Man, this episode dissapointed me a lot... Too much reused old animation (I can't believe they reused the Kamehameha Goku did to Kefla...), and the fight was boring as hell, I won't remember a single hit. But what I hated the most were the parts where Goku and Jiren sent punches at incredible speed....

Great episode, I wish we could get more close combat in the series like this episode had and left aside boring ki blasts and atatatatatatatas. Unfortunately this happened only because the main characters were tired.

I can't see how Jiren can lose, he is so superior and Goku mastering UI in one episode and beating him would feel so rushed after all these episodes. I think it will end with a tie after a time-out or U7 winning due to more fighters on the arena.

The best I could say about Yashima work in this episode is that I didn't thought it was him while watching. I hated the way he drew the characters in Super before (I think episode 9 of DBS is the worst DB episode ever in that regard) but this time it has been absolutely ok. Not a brilliant episode b...

My main problem with Goku using Hakai is that it should be a skill reserved to the Gods of Destruction. Toyotaro told us Trunks can heal because he is an apprentice of the Kaio Shin. Furthermore, Toyotaro stated that only Kaio Shin apprentices can heal and they lose the skill when they get promoted ...

Only a God of Destruction should be able to perform Hakai. I don't like what Toriyama/Toyotaro did here.

Leaving the battle with One Piece aside it's nice to see how great DBS is doing after almost 2 years since its start.

Man, i can't stand Yashima style and this episode was full of it. The way he draws faces is really ugly and if he did not got better after 77 episodes I doubt he will do it someday. Probably he thinks his work is good... so sad.

I was worried by seeing DBS getting lower ratings in the past weeks so it's nice to see it doing better this time. I seriously feared that the ratings could go downhill till the end of this arc.

Last episode was good, I'm hoping that the audience get hooked now that the arc is reaching it's climax.

So the episode of the Black's identity reveal got the lowest rating of this arc... Looks like it's flopping and sadly I can't say it surprises me. The pacing could be much better and it's getting repetitive.

No news about the release of the second collected volume? With the last chapter there are enough pages to fill it.

Dragon Ball Z: Buyū Retsuden was the first DB game I had in home, but before of that I think I played the first arcade game made by Banpresto.

The grin he has in one of the Toriyama's draws seems pretty malign to me, so I think he is a villain.

Episode's titles and summaries didn't leak this month and I find more thrilling this way. I'm ok with knowing details about the next week's episode but knowing what is going to happen in three or four weeks spoils the plot a lot.

When DBS ends, last week episode will probably be remembered as the one that made DBS stay closest to One Piece ratings. It's a shame One Piece had a nice week, it would have been nice to surpass it's ratings at least one time. I don't think DBS will ever create that hype again, sadly.

Nice rating for #43. I wonder if Super couldd get to One Piece levels if the Trunks arc would start next week.
