Re: "(Super) Dragon Ball Heroes" Official Discussion Thread

Wow, Super Hearts looks like DIO! I wonder how much this will play into the character?

Re: Vic Mignogna

Erectile Dysfunction is no fun. You either do without or you work the shaft until you bleed.

Do we actually know if Mic Vignogna has ED or was that just a joke?

Re: Vic Mignogna

Does nobody find it strange that Vic has no children? The man is 56 years old and he has no children. Eh, while I think it certainly makes sense considering how much of a douche bag he is it's also important to remember that not everyone can or wants kids. Hell, I don't have kids and I'm almost twe...

Re: Vic Mignogna

Maybe people shouldn't touch little girls and sexually assault colleagues? Maybe people shouldn't stand up for someone who isn't even a friend or family member when not even the people who work closest with him will defrnd him? Maybe Mic Vignogna should be removed from the spaces where he has spent ...

Re: DC Comic artist cites DBZ as an inspiration

For those not in the know, that image of Superman features his son Jonathan Samuel (that's right, Superman has a son) Wasn't he adopted, or did they change that? I can't keep up with all the retcons in comics nowadays. That was Chris Kent, the son of General Zod. He didn't stick around too long. Sh...

Finally got back to playing this game. I love playing as Gokuu Blue and Cell. I just can't seem to figure out how to get my anime music packs to play. How does that work?

Re: Would It Have Mattered If Anyone Else Knew The Kaio-Ken?

From a narrative stand point it would've just made things worse. A technique with constant and consistent power multipliers makes it more difficult for characters to stay relatively near one another in strength. I think the better option is to eventually have everyone else learn to use god ki and Mi...

I have a few ideas for a Tullece movie that I would love some feedback on. It's not a complete summary yet, but this is enough content for one hour: https://pastebin.com/raw/JypHbGDY

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - (Non) Announcement & Discussion Thread

I do hope the next film isn't a major downgrade in terms of staffing and production schedule. I would certainly be up for a Pocket Monster: Sun & Moon , Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon or Slow Start -style movie, though. I do hope we get a new series, though. I feel like there's more room for exper...

I have zero interest in what your run-of-the-mill Hollywood animation person thinks and feels about Dragon Ball.

That's...neat? Down with the monarchy, though. Yeah, let's bring politics into this. That always improves a topic. On topic: very cool he gets this honor. DragonBall was always extremely popular in France. It's kinda incredible how a lot of the Super Nes/Famicom DBZ got released in just 2 regions; ...

It's almost like things change and while the information one person gets can be credible the fact is business plans are fluid.

Re: Long Battles

I prefer well directed and animated battles first and foremost but I am also not opposed to simply long battles. Satoshi fought Shinji several times in Pocket Monster: Diamond & Pearl , the latter two times being two and three episodes long each. Through a dense use of BANK animation and new animati...

Re: Battle of Gods vs Super: Broly

What was cut down? The battle went for what felt like over half the runtime. So much of it felt repetitive. Is there any moment specifically you felt was condensed for the sake of the runtime? The final fight was anything but perfect. As good as it looked, the whole thing was a one sided beat down ...

Re: Battle of Gods vs Super: Broly

Kami to Kami has a fun script and voice performances. Broli has both of those and gorgeous directing and animation on top of that. Overall, Broli is a better film even with it's short running time being it's major flaw. Kami to Kami would be better if the production and staff hadn't been terrible. ...
