Re: Anybody already stopped watching Super?

The difference being that they were 2 goofy kids. Vegeta and Goku are adults now and Vegeta would never do anything like this. Vegeta in super is doing things like this all of the time though, it's not even funny. Every single thing about this show is like some sort of parody. I would say it's defi...

Re: Which is worse to you: bad art or bad animation?

Bad animation can make good art look bad. Even if a character drawn really well and rendered nicely, if it's movement are choppy and don't flow well it will look bad. On the other side, if a character isn't drawn "well" (or is drawn off-model), it can still be good eye candy if the animation and sho...

I know, right? Those outfits are so ridiculous. I can't believe this is happening in Dragon Ball.

Re: Why is Piccolo Considerd "The Black Guy"?

Even in my circle of friends, Piccolo was considered the "black guy". I never really saw a problem with it, because it's not meant in a bad/demeaning way, and Piccolo is awesome. I guess it has a little to do with him being the "minority" of the group (The only green guy), his (dub) voice which has ...

Re: Dragon Ball Runaways - Full Web Series Coming Soon!

They released a slew of new episodes today.

Episode 2 - Nimbus

Episode 3 - Red

Episode 4 - Wish

Episode 5 - Roshi

I gotta say...the acting/writing is still pretty bad. And it takes itself a little too seriously for my tastes. But I'll keep following it.

Re: Why was Dragonball minus never animated into a special?

The better question is will Jaco be animated as a special. Not that much really happens in DB-… I'm one of the people that doesn't mind it, but it is not really a self-contained story: there is no plot to make its own special out of it. This. I'd much rather see Jaco animated. And with Super, that ...

Re: Dragon Ball Z: The Fall of Men

A little too "knitty gritty" for my liking. But, personal tastes aside ,that was pretty good.

Also...over 3 million hits in 3 days. That ain't bad!

The scene where Freeza is torturing Krillin after having impaled him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULD9w8va9sk

The track used here just captures the despair of the moment so well.

I'm excited, and this isn't meant to be a "jab" at them...but I really hope they've improved their acting. That was my only issue with their initial video.

Re: Unofficial New DB Series Dragonball Absalon Episode 1

I'm gonna have to agree with the above posters. I feel like I keep repeating this; Even though I have a lot of respect for Malik because he's animating this on his own, he has a lot to learn in terms of animation/storytelling...and even drawing itself. The action is incredibly hard to follow, a lot...

Re: PLANNING ON VISITING TORIYAMA @NAGOYA

Well, it seems that most you guys know Toriyama better than himself for what you have read in a interview made many years ago, or what he is gonna think, like I am trying to poison him or whatever... maybe is what you you would think, but let me get the point of this, you guys are not Toriyama, so ...

I get the point of all of you guys, 100%, and it is true, their culture is completely different, he is a shy guy, he has a message asking for privacy and so on. But tell me, honestly, if you guys were in front of his door with a little present for him wouldn't you try to give him on hand? I just do...

5-star post, Mike. Completely on point. It's almost always best to wait and get the best/most reliable news than the fastest news. And you guys all do top notch job. That's a big part of why I still come to this place (nearly) a decade after signing up. As for the topic, I really HOPE ther...
