Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread

God, I hope it's not about waiting for Toyo-tarou. If the producers would pull their heads out of their asses and trust their directors and writers they would easily producer better content than Toyo-tarou. Out of curiosity, do you like the current arc in the Super manga? I like the Vegeta storylin...

Re: What characters do you think are underutilized?

Characters in Dragon Ball are used the fullest of their extent without feeling as though they're being in the plot in an inorganic fashion. I mean, yeah, I wish guys like Krillin, Tenshihan and Yamcha could have been use more than just glorified props after the Freeza arc, but the circumstances of t...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

There are a many people online saying that this was one of the best chapters in the arc so far, and... I just can't understand that opinion at all. Aside from Yamcha's reappearance (where all he did was take down fodder for a few panels) and maybe Gohan and Piccolo's combo moves, what was really sp...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Random and scattered thoughts of Chapter 56: - As I expected, Moro's cronies are practically no threat at all. Toyotaro did a terrible job of building them up as threat, bar OG73-I. - Gohan and Piccolo teaming up has become old hat. It may make some fans creams their pants in excitement, but I don't...

Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread

I was tired of playing from Raditz to Boo again, but that doesn't mean the game couldn't have surprised me with the presentation of it and been still a worthwhile experience. I only stated that I was personally IMMENSELY burned out on that narrative concept. That doesn't mean I'm biased. If I was b...

Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread

Look, I'm just saying that you went into the game with a bias against what it was trying to be and that it being a retelling of DBZ's story doesn't make the story automatically bad. I was tired of playing from Raditz to Boo again, but that doesn't mean the game couldn't have surprised me with the p...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

I don't really care much for the Earthlings fighting Moro's cronies, but if the panelling and choreography are decent than maybe I can get a kick out of it. I just can't help but feel like this is skirmish will only last a few pages. And it doesn't help that Moro's cronies haven't got a signal chara...

Re: "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Official Discussion Thread

Hmm.

Ultra Instinct Goku may not have much of move-set to work with given his lack of "flashy" techniques and having more of an emphasis on evasive combat, but it'll be interesting to see what they incorporate to accommodate him.

Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread

As someone who's top 100 in FighterZ with over 1000 hours in that game, you're objectively wrong about the combat system being bad. It's honestly just as deep and on the level of FighterZ. I'm not sure why you have such a problem with it, but the majority opinion is that the game is good. This game...

Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread

You spend 19 hours on a game that's stated to give you at least 30 & more if you explore everything it has to offer. I'm going to assume you did the bare minimum to progress through the story. In a game that wants you to take your time exploring what it has to offer, you're almost speedrunning it b...
