Re: Opinions on Pieces of Music - V4!

Such a happy tune - one of my favorites. I've actually found myself whistling this to myself sometimes :D I've actually never heard this version with Gohan's vocals, but they're kinda cute - even though Gohan isn't really a vocal genius. Speaking of Gohan ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lu3zW9xy...

Re: Opinions on Pieces of Music - V4!

Huh ... that wasn't the kind of music that I was expecting to hear from a Dragon Ball Z fighting game. It's a pretty great tune, though. It has a lot of interesting electronic sounds. Re: Opinions on Pieces of Music - V4!

That has always been one of my favorites, even if it was plagarized. It's the kind of music that I typically associate with Budokai; hard rock that kicks, excuse the choice of words, ass, and gets you pumped to do so as well.

Re: Weird misconceptions you used to have

- I thought Son Goten was Son Goku as a kid.
- I thought that Freeza's first form wasn't the same person as his fourth form.
- I thought the Kaioken was what everyone else was calling a "Super Saiyajin".

Does Gohan calling Piccolo by name qualify? Mr. Piccolo, sure, but every character uses Piccolo's name.
I think I'm just too used to a dub where he wasn't always called "Mr. Piccolo", but in that case, "Mr. Piccolo" is probably more correct.

Re: What terminology do you usually use?

I use a combination of the terminoligy in the Simmons subs and the Danish manga. For example, I use Freezer as opposed to Freeza, but I don't always type "Son Goku". I mostly just use "Goku". However, when I talk to Danish fans, I use the Danish manga terminology without exceptions.

Re: Countries that still air DragonBall/Z/GT

The first 104 episodes of Dragon Ball Z aired in Denmark until 2013, so that's "recently" in my book.
Also, the French channel Mangas still airs their dub of DBZ.

Re: Opinions on Pieces of Music - V4!

I like this one a lot. It's an "empowering rock song", what I'd normally associate Budokai with, but it sounds pretty unique.

Well … I'm probably a few months late on introducing myself, but … anyways. My name is DragonDuck (Of course, that's not my real name, but I digress …) I have also been lurking for some time now, but around the time of the reveal of Fukkatsu no "F"',I deceded to get an account. I discovered the site...

Re: Is the "Vejituh" pronounciation wrong?

Ah, thank you guys for clearing that up.

SaintEvolution, the thing about other dubs was actually what made me wonder in the first place. The Danish dub, for example, pronounced it "Vejituh", but I didn't know that there were so many dubs that pronounced it like that.

Is the "Vejituh" pronounciation wrong?

We all know that Vegeta's name is pronounced "Vejituh" in the Big Green dub, but is that technically wrong? I mean, the name "Vegeta" comes from "vegetable", which is kinda sorta pronounced "Vejituh-ble", so is the Vejituh thing really wrong?

Re: Favorite Filler

My favorite filler eps were the Gohan-training-in-the-wasteland episodes. Actually, back when I watched the series on Danish TV for the first time, I remember identifying a lot with Gohan because of these episodes. It also made his development feel all the more realistic.

Re: Final - 1st KSSTK

I vote for jcogginsa. I was so close to voting for Kamiccolo9, but jcogginsa's story was just that little bit better for me. It did a whole lot with very few words, and it had a very satisfying payoff. Kamiccolo9, your story was pretty great, though. A great little delve into Beerus' character. The ...

Re: 1st Kanzenshuu Short Story - Tenkaichi Budokai

Okay, huge mistake on my part! Thanks a lot for explaining. So, it goes like this: Contestants write stories based on theme – 5-day limit People vote – 5-day limit (Repeat!) Is that correct? Correct. When I open the Quarter Finals thread twelve hours after(so that I don't have advantage against tho...

Re: 1st Kanzenshuu Short Story - Tenkaichi Budokai

Well, for example, do we get five days to write just the match between you and SSJ God Gogeta, or do we get five days to write all the matches in one story? You've misunderstood the premise. Each contestant writes a story about whatever they want based on the theme. Then the story's are pitted agai...
