Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

At this point, I feel like Dragon Ball just hates Namek, it keeps genociding it's people and blowing it up. Why do Moro's crew care about gathering resources? They're gonna be eaten and leading up to that what are they gonna need that shit for? Every chapter always feels incomplete, as if the end o...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

Yes, most of Moro's abilities are used for battle (because that's how DB works). But he is not overcoming Goku and Vegeta by strength. Vegeta himself said that Moro is weaker than an SSB, however his ability to absorb energy and the allies he released from prison make him able to turn the tables on...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

Dragon Ball villains usually are stronger than the heroes and they like to play around with them, giving time to the heroes to come up with something to beat them. That’s why the evil Majin Boo is promoted to be the most dangerous, because he doesn’t have that weakness. So, I ask again, why Omega S...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

Until I see real feats from FP SS Broly, I'm not buying he is stronger than Jiren. We can argue all year long, the fact remains the same: Jiren almost defeats MUI Goku, the guy that had all the GoDs standing up in awe and Beerus clenching his teeth out of envy. Actually MUI wasn't enough to ring hi...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

My theory is that Freeza in order to eliminate the strain of his Golden form he reduced the multiplier. Think of it like in RoF he used SSG2 and in the ToP he used SS. That's the only way I can explained this. In Dragon Ball when a form is mastered it usually gets stronger, not weaker. That and dro...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

I'm talking about now. They're all within the same general range such that they pretty much stalemate one another. Hos base would be weaker if Golden Freeza is only even to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku as of now. My theory is that Freeza in order to eliminate the strain of his Golden form he ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

All 3 of them are pretty much equal in their respective forms anyways. Base/SS Goku and Vegeta are even with Final Form Freeza, and SSB is equal to True Golden Freeza. Going off of Resurrection ‘F’, both movie and retelling, true form Freeza was weaker than base for Goku even with his Golden form b...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread

I like how Moro is like Galactus and the escaped prisoners are like his hearalds, looking for worlds for Moro to eat. I think people are kinda taking away the wrong thing from Goku vs Merus. This arc has done a pretty good job at establishing a theme of “skill over power” with Moro’s skill with his...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

Goku>Frieza>Vegeta. That's how I see it based on everything. The difference is minor but it's there. Beerus>Jiren>Broly>Goku. Goku was never actually "stronger" than Jiren. He beat him but that's not the same thing. And Frieza had to help him, among others. Why Beerus on top? Simple. He could do aw...

Remember when Lagss fodderized UI Omen? Why they're making a big deal out of it again
Goku lost UI before Lagss even touched him. So how did she fodderized it? In fact, Goku was in his base form when Lagss hurt him.

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"

Overall, I felt like this movie was more climatic and larger scale in terms of production, than it really was in terms of story significance and script. The film has the huge blockbuster production you'd expect from a Toei movie, but doesn't really feel like it has the relevance and scale in the sc...

Re: Uub's role after EOZ

I take it you never watched Yu Yu Hakusho where the Dark Tournament was most of the manga and it was great. Saying that a tournament taking a place of a real arc is mind numbing. Especially when the original Dragon Ball had four tournament sagas with with two of them being low stakes. Also, the bes...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - (Non) Announcement & Discussion Thread

I just think it got postponed due to Stampede, One Piece is top dog over there, and they want to give that all the marketing for now. But didn't that One Piece enthusiast (I think his name was Skippy?) say that no one of note from Dragon Ball went over to work on Stampede? https://twitter.com/Skipp...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread

I don't hate the length of this arc, but we're definitely in for a downward slide from here on out. The Anilaza episode is fun, but after that it just drags until the end. Fortunately, the final episode is a-mazing . As to how it stacks up to Dragon Ball's other super-long arcs, I feel like this ar...

Before the beginning of the ToP, that thing Jiren did when the tiles where landing and he dodged them backwards and with his eyes closed, was that suppose to be some sort of bootleg version of UI?
He didn't dodged. He outright didn't move.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - (Non) Announcement & Discussion Thread

I can't see the EU territories being able to produce a Simuldub. The only other company I know of who produce them other than Funimation are based in Korea, and they do One Piece, literally just One Piece. Simuldubs aren't commonplace and I just don't see it happening. I can see episodes being rele...
