Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

Give an explanation of why this would happen • Namek Freeza vs serious goten • Android 16 vs frost • Ultimate Gohan vs Base goku • Spopovich vs Roshi • name the strongest person videl can beat 1. Goten wins even without being serious. A heavily supressed ki blast from SSJ Trunks managed to scare A1...

Re: How strong was Yamcha at his peak?

Problem is we don't know how strong Yamcha got during the Cell arc, or if his power regressed in the 7 years to the Buu arc like Gohan's did. I'm sure his power did decline during the 7 year gap, the same can be said for Krillin. Yeah, we don't know how strong the humans are at the Cell arc, I have...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

I've read this reasoning over & over again on these board and oothers. I belive Goku was counting on the kids reaching SS3 after fusion anyways. That was part of the point behind him showing SS3 to them at the lookout. Gotenks is never shown to be THAT powerful at regular SS, we only have Goku's id...

Re: How strong was Yamcha at his peak?

I have Yamcha beating only First Form Frieza. Unlike Krillin and Tien who are probably able to fight a 2nd Form Frieza and win, while Chiaotzu somewhere below Vegeta when he fought First Form Frieza.

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

I've never believed that the gap between SS3 Gotenks & SS3 Goku is nearly as large as people make it out to be... There just isn't much evidence for it besides vague comments about how strong Gotenks "should be". Ultimate Gohan is obviously another story. Well, when Goku and Vegeta were inside Buu,...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

•Serious roshi vs raditz •Serious roshi vs nappa •Serious roshi vs whole Dragonball I am confident he can beat them all, Because apparently roshi was always as strong as in rof, he was just not feeling the need to get serious.. :? And now in universe survival arc he is in the team.. That guy is hid...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

Dragon Ball Humans Run the Vegeta Gauntlet! Manga-only speaking, we know Kuririn was 75,000 in the fight against Freeza and possibly kept getting stronger, maybe reaching, let's say, 100,000. Post three years training for the Androids' arrival, he got a good deal stronger, like 2x or so (more or le...

Re: Do we actually underestimate the intended level of Pui Pui?

The weaker you are the easier it is to get strong. It's called noob gains. Like if you lift weights you get strong pretty quickly, but after a while your gains slow down. That doesn't seem to be the case here in Dragon Ball. Look at how well they progressed during the 3 years of training for the An...

Re: Do we actually underestimate the intended level of Pui Pui?

There was 5 years between the 23rd budokai and Raditz showing up and Goku's power level went from somewhere above 300 to 416. That was before Toriyama thought of the power levels. How did the humans got from 177, 206 and 250 all the way to 1480, 1770 and 1830 respectively? I know they trained with ...

Re: Do we actually underestimate the intended level of Pui Pui?

But isn't Dragonball Super your "confirmation" in your argument about base Saiyans being weaker than Freeza? What in the original manga ever contradicted the notion that base Saiyans>Freeza? That's not how it works. Goku's power gains are unknown and we know base Goku<<<<<Frieza in the namek arc, s...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

Dragon Ball Humans Run the Vegeta Gauntlet! Krillin, Yamcha, and Tenshinhan, all at their peaks, and no stupid pride or warrior "I fight alone" mindset. They are fighting for the survival of themselves, each other, and the planet. Which is the strongest Vegeta they can take? R1: Kid Vegeta R2: Saiy...

Re: Do we actually underestimate the intended level of Pui Pui?

I don't know it was stated anywhere that their magical way of sensing the ki was like that, Dabura might know that they're hidding a lot of power, but what if he was only referring to just their base power? The transformations were certainly quite of a surprise for them. The scene does seem to impl...

Re: Was 22nd WMAT Roshi more powerful than his younger self?

Well, if Master Roshi took 3 years to get the water, then he has to be much weaker than Goku, in order for his training to get to Goku post-Korin level. Then Roshi gets old and doesn't train, and he would be at his power as how we know him in the 21st Budokai, but that Roshi is equal to Goku before ...

Re: Do we actually underestimate the intended level of Pui Pui?

Babidi and Dabura didn't know about Super Saiyan 2. Yeah, I know. They became aware of something they didn't fully understand, only knowing it was a good energy source but not realizing how it would stack up against their own forces. The thing is that they never transformed into SSJ2 for Babidi and...

Re: Do we actually underestimate the intended level of Pui Pui?

I think the overall point is that the "marvelous energy" that Bobbidi and Dabra detected in the Saiyans was their Super Saiyan (2) power. That's what made Piccolo look like "trash" by comparison and was potent enough to release Boo that same day, as they expected. Babidi and Dabura didn't know abou...

Re: Do we actually underestimate the intended level of Pui Pui?

I have the Base Saiyans surpassing Piccolo, and the reasons are these: - Babidi and Dabura did know that Goku, Vegeta and Gohan were strongest out there in their base. - Gohan and Vegeta thought that they could win the tournament in base (Vegeta is always cocky though) 1) It was shown later though ...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

Yeah. I have Frieza winning, but not a one shot obviously, it's more like putting Vegeta (Frieza Saga) < Goku (Frieza Saga) < Frieza Supressed < Gohan <= Frieza Less Suppressed < Frieza 50% He was less supressed when battling with no hands against Goku. If Gohan does get angry, he might surpass even...
