Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Yeah but that's because they barely changed the names, here we changed a lot and having a version with the original names would be great. Unfortunately they chose to stay consistent with the original dub terminology. They made that choice and they won't go back and change that just to appease an ha...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation English Dub Official Announcement and Discussion Thread
If FUNi's dub follows the path my country's dub took it's gonna take a long time until you get to original material. In Portugal the dub started airing on September 24th and it's just now starting the RoF arc with 2 episodes airing every week, the difference is that here we never got the BoG and RoF...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Well I have a request for anyone here who usually sends messages and talks to the portuguese cast, Could you ask if they record different versions of the same dialog with different names, for example Mr. Satan instead of Hercules and Kakarot instead of Cachalote, because since the funi dub is gonna ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Well I disagree. I think it's at least ok. It's not the best but it's definetly not the worst, I prefer Portuguese Goten to Funi Goten for example.sangofe wrote:Your Goten's probably the worst Goten on the whole planet, I think.omegalucas wrote:Nope, still Spínola. Even when he gets older (if ever in Super).

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
That I believe is once again the studio's fault, they got the worst director for this Week episodes and that shows in everybody.FortuneSSJ wrote:Tagoma was great, until Freeza start torturing him and he barely scream. Needs more energy in these situations.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Yep. They probably thought it was ok since Jaco is a bit pokerfaced and he didn't need to show much emotion this episode. I thought Cristina Cavalinhos was a bit off as well. Freeza is 90% of what he was so that's good. But fuck, his men are all so casual towards him. I really hate that and makes n...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Jaco was Gabriel, wasn't he? Yes, and he sucked... I mean no disrespect for the guy but this just proves my theory that he only got the job becuase he's the admin of the facebook page and a friend of the original cast, either that or he got an awful direction because he didn't give any emotion to J...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Shisami was Whis' voice actor Romeu Vala. You sure he's not Feist? Frog is Rui de Sá  It was nice hearing Freeza again after so long, I also noticed he seemed somewhat off. And Sorbet... strange voice. At least they keep the original names now. I couldn't understand well but they didn't call C...

I think it is the same line, that's why I think it wasn't on purpose.omegalucas wrote:The problem is not just that they placed the line there (where there are no lines for Freeza, only Tagoma's narration), it's also that it sounds like the same recording used later in the episode.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
- And for the most amateurish act Audio-In has done, they put Frieza's line when he comes back playing while we see Frieza and Ginyu talking just to havehim say it again in the end of the episode. Could you please reword this, because I don't understand? When we see Frieza in Tagoma's flashback he ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
So Rof arc first episode was something. -Sorbet voice is not good, it's not bad it's just too high pitched; -Tagoma is voiced by JoãoLoy, not a bad voice; - Frieza is back and it's not as high pitched as in DBZ but there's something off, probably becuase Spínola hasn't done it in a long time so he'l...

Watching episode 18. The acting really does seem to have improved and Vegeta's decent now. Wow, so glad that happened. Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
Jesus why do they do this to us portuguese fans. They just keep teasing us with a portuguese dub of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 that will never happen  . It's really good but it's also torture. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyZ2OiDAYnA BTW: Our DBZ dub was not one of the best, not even close, but...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
i'm not sure about Gabriel doing Monaka this is his first dub and he only got the role because he is the admin of the Dragon Ball Portugal page, or at least it was a big part of the reason he got it, so having a character as Monaka in his first dub is something I don't like, especially because it a...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal
I'm enjoying Joana Castro performance but I'm disappointed that she's dubbing Baby Pan, because Pan was always dubbed by Cristina and I love her work. Gabriel will get Jaco and most likely Monaka. . Joana is probably dubbing Baby Pan because Cristina is dubbing Marron and then we would probably get...
