Re: Super Episode 117 (26 November 2017)

I'm just asking you to find a widespread example. If it's as common as you say it is, surely it shouldn't be an issue to find a single comment on reddit that calls one of them (or all of them) a slut or a whore with even 1k upvotes, right? 1k is quite a sizeable amount of upvotes for any reddit pos...

Re: Super Episode 117 (26 November 2017)

You're hilarious. YouTube and reddit are vastly more enormous communities than this website, but because there's no sexist comments made against the female characters on this site (and there still is, just not nearly as many or as transparently), then there simply is no widespread sexism in the ove...

Re: Super Episode 117 (26 November 2017)

Do people really not understand the inherent sexism in calling Caulifla, Kale, or Brianne whores, but complain only that the writing was bad when, for example, Hermila & Prum "seriously challenge" most of team U7? I don't recall anyone getting viscerally pissed off at Prum for being such a threat to...

Re: Ultra Instinct - A Thread for Theory Crafting and Discussion

So, I'm not sure if my personal theory about UI holds up after 116, but here goes. Ultra Instinct is a state Goku was "pretty sure" he could tap into since before the recruitment arc. He told Toppo to wait until he broke his limits, and everyone thought he meant even moar kaioken, but I'm pretty sur...

Re: Battles between two Ultra Instinct users

There is still a decent amount of evidence that Jiren is indeed either using UI or an ability that is very similar. It could also explain how, when he knocked Kale out of Berserk the first time, he didn't actually knock her out of the ring. Same goes with when he hit Goku. Goku managed to remain in ...

What is with "shut up, that's subjective" on this forum? We're here to talk about how we feel about each episode or what are our opinions of what just happened, what might happen, and of what we know is going to happen. All of that is, by definition, subjective. 90% of what EVERYONE here who is not ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread

Jiren will go back to meditating once he realises Goku has lost Ultra Instinct again. Huh, there is this one guy who rose to my level of power and he proved that he can still improve and get back to it, my strongest ally is in a match that can go either way and my second and last ally is scared to ...

Re: Ultra Instinct "Omen" definitely seems to be the most positively accepted and well received SSJ Form of the new ones

The design is amazing, it's animation has been consistently amazing, and Goku's fighting stance, style, and demeanor in the form are all amazing. That said... I'm still not personally sold on how he achieved it or how it's supposed to actually make any sense (I have a theory). I said before it didn'...

Re: Super Episode 115 (12 November 2017)

The fight itself was definitely the worst part of it, I however have been freaking out a little about power-scaling, but for the opposite reason. The episode proved that Kefla was way weaker than I thought she should be!

Re: What do you guys think about Kafla?

I really wanted to like her. Episode 114 got me liking Kale and Caulifla quite a lot and when they fused at the end with their quirky little misstep, I was hyped, but 115 completely deflated the character for me. Honestly, everyone is losing their shit over how strong she is, but I find she's nowher...

Re: Super Episode 115 (12 November 2017)

There was some massive cognitive dissonance going for me this episode when they made SSB Goku out to be such a huge deal even though he's used it several times in the tournament either to take out trash or just because he felt like it (and wanted to go to a higher form and then sandbag a metric ton...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

Looks like we'll have to wait and see for yet another episode what the real limits of Kefla's powers are, but, sheesh, come on, if SSBKKx2 can give Kefla trouble, even if Goku is tired as hell in that form, how is she reasonably supposed to pose any threat to Ultra Instinct at all? She can't. Honest...

Re: Super Episode 115 (12 November 2017)

Also, as much as I loved seeing Ultra Instinct again, I will admit that it didn't take... much this time to activate it. Yeah, I mean... she's stronger than SSB so Goku uses an unspecified KK multiplier to even the odds. Making it worse, Goku's running on steam, so is he actually considerably weake...

Re: Super Episode 115 (12 November 2017)

Loved ep 114, was hype for Kefla, but the fight this episode was really bad in my opinion. Boring choreography, stupid ki blast spam, and LOTS of reused animation (a lot of which was reused generic ki blast spamming making it quadratically bad). Lots of filler cutaways, too. What was the point of cu...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread

The power of Toppo is still a mystery to me (if he is stronger than Goku SSB or not) I'd agree it's still very mysterious, but I'd wager that Vegeta's SSB form is stronger than Goku's without taking Kaioken into consideration, so I'd lean toward Toppo being closer to Vegeta's SSB power, but we'll j...

Re: Piccolo Being Setup for Namekian God Transformation?

The problem with Saonel and Pirina having a power-up technique that Piccolo could use, especially if we're talking about something that those two are themselves not currently using, is that Piccolo is barely keeping up with them as is. Argue it all you want, but it was obvious to almost everyone tha...

Re: I think feminism is the reason for the overpowered female characters

how can people deny that kale and kaulifia are both marry sue's? kale was ripping goku in ss blue. now kefla forcing goku to use ultra instinct again. there is no denying. toei wanted a marrry sue badly. both to expend the fan territory and has a feminist agenda. yes feminism exist in japan just as...
