Re: DragonBall Z Abridged
Sorry for the misconception. I'm patiently waiting like the rest of you. Luckily, we won't have to wait too much longer, since Kaiser said in last Friday's Stream Four Star Twitch stream that he's editing together Part 3 right now. We're so close to finally getting the final episode of Season 3, gu...

Re: Puns this community, except for me, never say
See, the problem is you guys' puns are too good to be grouped in with what we're meant to be discussing. For one thing, they're actual puns, which presumably took a little bit of thought and/or effort. The examples provided in the OP showcase none of that.

Re: Watching Dragon Ball with kid(s) and their thoughts/reactions
My daugther who's almost 4,5 now Yeah, I reckon 4,5 is a little bit young. 7 or so would probably be ideal. She's 4,5 The main thing I'm taking away from this thread is that you're not sure how old your daughter is. These reactions are adorable. She seems to be on the exact right wavelength...

Re: My Dragon Ball Collection
Wait, I'm confused about how we're supposed to see more. What is your channel called? For real though, these kinds of posts are better served here rather than individual threads. It's certainly an impressive collection, regardless. :) EDIT: Ah, I see you've already posted it there. And several other...

Based on what I've seen in this thread, I believe the youngest member currently is Dotogam . Damn The Tori-Bot joined when he was 11. That's probably the youngest someone has joined. Proof http://www.kanzenshuu.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=20198&p=550368&hilit=Joined#p550368 *sneezes* ...

Actually, consider it... not done. Apparently there's a statute of limitations on editing posts now. And I was just one edit away from retirement...! Yep, posts have a two-hour edit limit. Opening posts in the sub-sections under Dragon Ball can be edited infinitely, but here in Website & ...

Re: LIVE Interview with DALE KELLY (Narrator, Ginyu) on 1/29
If there's still time, I'd like to know if he's heard any of the other Funi narrators' work either on Z or any of the other series, and if so what he thinks of their approach. Also, did he get a chance to hear the original Joji Yanami narration at any point before/during/since doing it himself?

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection '
FUNi's release keeps the usual Freeza and Kuririn, etc. in the subs and the overly literal style Simmons uses. Hmm, interesting. Okay, I guess there's a pretty simple way to settle it. Anyone with the Region A release be willing to play spot-the-difference with me? Scene where Goku's explaining Blu...

Can anyone tell me what the subtitles are like on the UK blu-ray? Manga UK have included the 5.1 tracks and extras this time, but have apparently authored the disc themselves. The only review I could find that talks about the subtitles says they "do not feel like the true translation of dialog...

Re: Akira Toriyama watched Goku vs Superman 2 battle?
I've heard he watched it and was so outraged that he sold all of his belongings so that he could pay off the movie studio behind Batman V Superman so that he could change the ending. Now at the end of the movie Superman will be fighting Thanos (who has the infinity gauntlet) but as soon as the figh...

Re: A Japanese criminal claims that he wanted to become Goha
This kinda reminds me of the Dark Knight Massacre, with that man who wanted to be like the joker. This example gets paraded out a lot, but the guy never actually said that. IIRC it's something the press made up/misconstrued. Plus, you'd think if he was going for Joker, he'd have picked a hair dye t...

Re: Japanese kid Vegeta and kid Trunks voices
Another thing to remember is that Horikawa's natural speaking voice is quite a bit higher than the one he uses for Vegeta. They sound like grown men doing kid voices; I can't imagine there's any post-recording alterations to their performances. Both of them aren't exactly basses, it's not that hard ...
