Re: If Cell's test tube had survived

If the surveillance device which was taking their genes in wasn't destroyed along with Cell surviving I think he would have been a much bigger threat because he would have the unlocked potential of SSJ2 and SSJ3 genes when he awoke making him that much more powerful.

Re: Potential of Future Gohan

But the way I think of it if Gohan was as strong as Goku(Yardrat) then he would have been beaten a lot worse than he was. Yeah the Androids were screwing around with him but he was fighting pretty evenly with 17 until 18 intervened. I doubt that half of number 17's power is equal to Goku post yardr...

Re: Potential of Future Gohan

According to the special subtitles Gohan says "“I made it hoping it would make me strong as dad was before he died… But I guess it’s not that easy.” or something along the lines. The key difference is "make me strong as dad" not " make me as strong as dad". I guess the scene implies Gohan wants to ...

Re: Potential of Future Gohan

Was the fate of the Lookout ever confirmed in the future? If it wasn't ever touched, then why didn't Mr. Popo just fly down and say "uh, hey. I've got this place that can give you a years training in a day. If you could hurry up and use it that'd be great. Sincerely Popo." 8) How do we know Mr. Pop...

Re: The greatest battle in Dragon Ball

For me it would have to be the Goku vs. Vegeta fight. It was well choreographed and everything seemed to flow perfectly. The highlight of it though was the beam struggle which was really amazing, especially with Goku increasing his Kaioken technique in the middle of the beam struggle to create a mas...

Re: Speculation: Dende's Power Level

I think his powerlevel would be something close to Kami's, perhaps stronger since he had his power unlocked. We're probably looking at 300 - 1,000+ (After his potential was unlocked.) Going into the tens of thousands seems a bit ridiculous to me. And who says Dende even went through training after? ...

Re: 25th Budokai wish and Gohan's death

Well, as you just said, he instantaneously moves just before we see the wish completed, so I see absolutely no reason to think he didn't just arrive, well, instantly, as the name implies. And even if it was as much as a few minutes (which seems practically impossible), it still doesn't gel that any...

Re: 25th Budokai wish and Gohan's death

I don't see how that would mitigate it, though. Gohan would have had to have died right at that exact moment, in between the wish granting and Goku's arrival, which was only the span of a couple of seconds. To be fair the transition between two frames of a manga could be up to any amount of time, i...

Re: 25th Budokai wish and Gohan's death

The English translation of the manga sometimes changes a few lines, but this little oddity is present in the Japanese version as well. We could say that Goku didn't actually hear how the wish was worded, and due to a breakdown in communication and taking Goku's word for it that Gohan's ki couldn't ...

Re: The All-Purpose "Versus" Thread

Well, Cooler didn't stand a chance against an untrained Super Saiyan, much like full-power Freeza (Goku appeared to still be untrained in the movie), so I think Cooler wouldn't make much of a difference unless he tried to kill Trunks alongside Freeza, rather than just watching like King Cold did. C...

Re: Potential of Future Gohan

The thing you have to understand is they are two different timelines that diverged at a crucial point in time. Along with being different timelines you could say they are alternate universes. If you compare both of them then are major differences. For example, the androids are less evil, in Trunks t...

25th Budokai wish and Gohan's death

I was just strolling around on Youtube where I came across someones very valid argument. Shortly after the death of Vegeta due to him sacrificing himself to kill fat buu. Bulma and the gang attempt to bring back all those who died that day except for the really bad people. At this moment Goku IT's t...
