Re: Super as continuation of Z/Kai or Manga/Toriyama movies?
Quite frankly, I hope the new series references Tullece, Broly, Slug, Metal Cooler, and also foreshadows a bunch of GT stuff. Hell, throw in a direct reference to Cross Epoch while we're at it. The best way to get rid of the continuity debates is to smash the continuity with a fucking hammer.

Yes, there does appear to be. I'm assuming the thread-starter meant to say it was spelled as Sayian.

Re: Positive changes/Woolseyisms
I would argue that none of these are "positive" changes, made no positive impact on the product at the time, and should be looked at with historical scorn and general irrelevance. "Scorn"? As in, "indignant or passionate contempt"? Isn't that a bit strong of an emotion...

Re: Resurrection F Box Office - ¥3.1 billion ($27.17 million
Actually, it turns out that I was totally off in my assumption about Japanese ticket prices. I figured they were roughly similar to American prices, but it turns out they're almost twice that. So yeah, they need to sell a little under half a million more tickets, which is a bit more realistic, but s...

Re: Resurrection F Box Office - ¥3.1 billion ($27.17 million
Damn, some quick math tells me that they need to sell over 900,000 more tickets in order to meet Toei's goal. That sounds like a bit of a long shot.

Does that mean $3.3 million? That would be about ¥392.7 million, but in just one day?

And why do I get the feeling that even when I succeed, the new outfit items are dropped in the store where I have to buy them (in-game)...maybe I'll have better luck tomorrow. Meh. The suits are automatically put in your inventory. This means that someone with a "complete" game (all the D...

For anyone curious as to how the "trailer" Future Warrior was made, what follows is my best guess, based on comparisons between high-quality screenshots/renders and what I could see on my monitor. If you disagree about something (especially the color), I'd be glad to hear your argument. Th...

Re: Resurrection F Box Office - ¥2.6 billion ($22.7 million)
Golden Week Cumulative thus far: ¥1.01 billion ($8.51 million). And with that, ROF has officially outgrossed BOG. Way it go, Toei and Toriyama! Yeah, even if it doesn't meet its overall goal, the fact that it grossed more than its predecessor (and made a profit) is pretty much an automati...

I give it another week. Two at most. They don't have to worry about spoilers because there's no story mode to this DLC, just PQs and new mentors.MCDaveG wrote:So we've got the costumes, but looks like the actual DLC won't hit the PSN anytime soon

I don't really know but I think I might make him too. I don't actually have a male Saiyan yet. I guess I'll have to print out some pictures and do my best by-eye comparison, then I'll post my results here and see if anyone disagrees. Really, the colors are going to be the real bitch, because not ev...

Out of curiosity, does anyone know what exact settings were used to create the Future Warrior seen in the trailers. He's obviously a male Saiyan with adult Gohan's hairstyle, and he's clearly wearing the Time Patroller outfit with no gloves. However, I'm curious about the exact choices for eyes, ear...

Anyone else disappointed at the stat spread on the new outfits? It's the exact same as with the Bardock, Broly, and Time Patroller sets. Meanwhile, the only ki-focused top-tier costume seems to be the GT Goku costume. EDIT: Huh, apparently I was mistaken. the Vegito and 4-Star costumes are ki-focuse...

Re: Toyble DBAF [June 9, 2012] Vol 4 HD release complete
Wait, I just realized something: East Kaioshin giving up on the Cold dynasty in the beginning of the story makes no sense. She refuses to acknowledge a son who isn't the strongest in the universe, which is fine, but Freeza losing a fight doesn't mean the family is a lost cause. Why? Cooler is her so...
