All of these images are available without some random person's watermarks right on the Dragon Ball Official Website's post from the other day.

Re: Kakarot vs Kakarotto - The Vegerot/Vegetto(ito) effect

As Adamant and I have pointed out a few times, the user "Desassina" does not seem to have a particularly good grasp on this subject at all, and their input/explanations should be taken as suspect, when they can be understood at all. We use "Jiren" here at Kanzenshuu for a few reasons, but mainly: (1...

Re: Why isn't DBS Manga more advertised officially?

Today's chapter wasn't really "released early" in that it's just that the current month's issue of V-Jump came out a couple days ahead of its normal 21st-of-the-month release date (presumably because of Respect for the Aged Day on the 21st, I guess? And that would bump it to Sunday the 20th, but V-J...

This is a thread that Tai Lung made to defend anime with lies as always.

Nothing new.
This is not an appropriate way to hold a conversation in this community.

Re: Why did Toei hire Yamamoto for Kai in the first place?

Again, Yamamoto had been composing music for Dragon Ball games since before FUNimation even existed as a company. Roping him into the pipeline for a TV series was a completely natural and expected move and, at that point in time, likely had little-to-no outside influences.

Re: Kakarot vs Kakarotto - The Vegerot/Vegetto(ito) effect

Do any non-English translations even use "Raditz"? Carlsen used Radits, and I'm pretty sure at least a decent number of other European publishers did as well. Mmmm only relevant thing I have on hand is Carlsen's German DBZ Vol. 1 animanga (2008 release) which uses "Radditz". https://www.kanzenshuu....

Re: Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butouden is Underrated

I’m not sure why: (1) This is in the fan-works section rather than the video games section (I’ll be moving it) (2) Why your title is a hashtag (I’ll be editing it) Anyway, I reviewed the game here on the site. We talked about it on the podcast. But it didn’t get released internationally and it was a...

Re: Kakarot vs Kakarotto - The Vegerot/Vegetto(ito) effect

So, Beerus, is that like the "Vegito" equivalent of "Vegetto"? Where did Beers come from then? Beerus is "Beerusu" in Japanese, right? Wouldn't it make sense to keep it as "Beers" or not? Can you explain why you decided to scap "Beers"? Our typical methodology for spellings on Kanzenshuu is that we...

Re: Kakarot vs Kakarotto - The Vegerot/Vegetto(ito) effect

I'm more so after the most ideal way to "translate" these names, like, official sources still use "Kefla" and "Special Beam Cannon", etc, so I'm certain it's safe to say we can't always just go by what "officially" sources decide to translate things as. Right. "Official" is sometimes "completely ac...

And with that, we reach the end of this thread! Unfortunately, the discussion taking place at this point makes sense and is relevant to the small group of people in-fighting, and literally no-one else. It is almost completely inscrutable, and neither its tone nor content reflect our community guidel...

I've already given my two cents on several of these matters already earlier in the thread, but I did want to pop in to say that unironically using "fanboys" to describe another person or group who -- regardless of whether or not it's genuine -- are attempting to explain their preferences and opinion...

Re: Is the story of the new Broly movie covered in DB Super

I feel like some of this stuff is being said, but in bits and pieces, not comprehensively, and also mixed in with misinformation. The Dragon Ball Super television series ended in March 2018 after 131 episodes, with its final arc being the Universe Survival arc / Tournament of Power. The Dragon Ball ...
