As far as I know, DragonBall (the FUNimation dub) has completed its run, has it not? Last I checked many months back, CN was airing the Piccolo-Daimao arc. So... if it's not done airing, it will be, soon. As for the DVD releases... uhhh.. they kinda pulled a Z where they skipped a few sagas in the m...

Here's a REAL basic example of one of my AVS scripts. What this does is load the MPEG-2 stream from the VOB (as per the D2V project), and inverse-telecine it (taking the 29.97 fps interlaced video, and returning it to its original 23.976 fps stream without the interlacing): SetMemoryMax(5) MPEG2Sour...

"Budokai 2" - Special Fusions

Cheated to get the rest of the capsules I needed. Didn't want to have to beat "Dragon World" another 30 times just to get what I want :P. Six times is enough for me, thank you. I'm going to be dumping some images into this folder , but for now, here's three I think everyone will enjoy: 01 - Tenshinh...

Just out of curiosity, if the above images AREN'T from the flashback, what prompts Buu to look like that in the normal continuity? I haven't watched most of the Buu saga (save all the "Fusion" discs that I'm using for AMV footage) in a looooong time.

I'd like to get the images from the actual flashback, but thanks, anyway! Now at least I have a good idea of what I'm looking for. Muchly appreciated.

Well, I'd say the IVTCed 23.976 MPEG-1 looks pretty nice! I'm running another MPEG that's simply a deinterlaced encode from the original 29.97 fps capture, just to compare the two. I'd like to go with the IVTCed one, because 23.976 fps is less than 29.97 fps, which means less frames, which means a s...

"Budokai 2" - Intro Progress

I'm screwing around, today, after (finally) capturing the intro animation to Budokai 2 . I captured it fine at 640x480, 29.97 fps. It appears to be a traditional animation sequence originally animated at 23.976 fps and telecined to 29.97 fps; the IVTC seemed to go flawlessly on it. I'm currently enc...

Thanks so much :).

I don't have that specific episode on disc, so I was relying on what I remember from fansubs until I borrowed the disc from someone. I'll fix that stuff up and start looking for the disc, again ^^.

It's not that they'd mistake it, per say... we just feel that it's not entirely appropriate. Plus, we've got a LOT of foreign (outside the USA) visitors to the site, so they might confuse it ^^;;.

Ooooooh yeah! Now that I've beaten the game several times, I won't feel bad about cheating to get some extra stuff, especially if it's for the site! :P

Since when did that become a bad thing? I guess it's not bad at all ^^;;. I usually like to strive for something more with my videos, though. Telling the story of the anime exactly as it is... isn't really creating anything new, which is really what I think AMVs are for. But that's why it's ...

The very first animation; no Vegeta & Nappa, and it ends with Goku with Nyoibo hopping down.

I don't mean "lame" in that I don't like the video; I actually think it's pure stupid fun, and I like watching it!

I just mean the concept is absolutely retarded :P. Song! Footage! Timing! INSTANT VIDEO!

The animation isn't pure CG; it's really just the in-game models done in the "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" animation.

I'm actually not too sure what the truthful legality is for cracking the encryption of DVDs (which is called "CSS," or "Content Scrambling System"). During their legal battles against those who published the original DeCSS program, they inadvertently made the CSS code public in the legal written pap...

PsyLiam wrote:(And, out of curiousity, why'd you prefer "Buu" to "Boo"?)
I'm not sure. Just how I've always written it, based on the romanization. I think "Boo" reminds me far too much of the ghosts in Super Mario Bros., as well.

"Avatars" are images you use to represent yourself; yeah, they're the little image that appear under your name. They are to be limited to 80x80 pixels. If they're larger, I'll send you a PM asking you to change it. If you don't, I'll just remove it, myself ^^. Images are not allowed in signatures......
