Nothing suggests that in the least. Goku was shown to swat them away like flies before even using any Kaiokens. The only decent finger beam is the Makankosappo.

Re: Why didn't anyone else ever bother learning the dodonpa?

I'm saying that if they concentrated on improving it it could keep up with the Kamehameha. And I'm saying it wouldn't matter. It's a fundamentally inferior technique (a finger beam). The only reason it was considered the better of the two is because the basic Dodonpa is superior to the basic Kameha...

Re: Why didn't Beerus stop the Androids?

On top of the whole "he was asleep" thing, the androids weren't a threat to the cosmos. They were a threat to Earth's way of life, but not even all of the planet, let alone all of existence. They were a significantly smaller threat than Freeza ever was.

Re: Complete list of plotholes/continuity issues in the movi

Inconsistencies in the new movies: In DBZ: Battle of Gods , it is said that Vegeta has a brother in another planet (a reference to Tarble from DB: Heya! Son Goku & Friends Return!! ). However, Vegeta says in the manga (when trying to figure out how Trunks was a Super Saiyan), while speaking in his ...

Re: Why didn't anyone else ever bother learning the dodonpa?

The Dodonpa is only superior to the basic Kamehameha. Once people learn how to add more ki to the Kamehameha so as to produce stronger blasts, the strength of the Dodonpa is no longer an issue. That's assuming that no improvements are made on the Dodonpa... Which we see there aren't, though. Only C...

Re: Who's the most powerful person this Tenshinhan composite

Base Gotenks is shown to be between SSJ2 Vegeta and Fat Boo (MUCH closer to SSJ2). This means we know that the fusion multiplier is greater than the SSJ multiplier, because SSJ2 Goten would be weaker than base Gotenks. In other words: SSJ2 Goten = SSJ Goten x2 = (Goten x50) x2 Base Gotenks = (Trunks...

Re: How did Gohan regress so much?

SSJ2 also increases hair length, though. We see this when Gohan first uses it and when he shows off the form to Kibito (there's a panel showing hair growth). I'd compare it more as a weaker form of SSJ3 than an overpowered SSJ1.

Re: How powerful are Real life Martial artists and Athletes?

Bob Sapp: 7 (I'm sure Toriyama-sensei was joking about it though) If we're to take the Daizenshuu's Battle Power of 10 as serious for Goku, then Bob Sapp being a 7 is pretty realistic. Remember that the typical human in the Dragonball world was shown to have a BP of 5. Meanwhile, real-life fighters...

Re: If DB were an American comic?

Yes frequently. Like normal American comics Unless it's with a small press or self-published like with Image comics. That said, it would tank as an American comic. Action Adventure comics don't do well in North America unless they're part of the superhero genre. Comics in the superhero genre don't ...

Re: Complete list of plotholes/continuity issues in the movi

Movie-verse biggest plothole: movie 2 is a year after the Saiyan saga. Movie 3 is a year after movie 2. Movie 4 is a year after movie 3. All of these films are prior to Trunks killing Freeza.

Kaioshin had a chance to redeem himself when he tried to stop Goku and Vegeta from fighting by literally standing in the way and challenging Goku to get through him…. but then he pussies out against Goku's bluff of killing him. Absolutely pathetic... I'm not really sure how that would'v...

Re: How did Gohan regress so much?

I think Toriyama integrated SSJ2 into SSJ. The former is not a thing anymore. He said in one of the more recent interviews that he forgot about SSJ2 and thought that SSJ3 was SSJ2. I can believe that. Neko Majin Z has only SSJ2s and they're called SSJ1s. Then he seemed to have abandoned SSJ2 altoge...

Re: Based on Manga Canon, could there be a non-GT SS4?

I'm not talking about that monkey form, I'm talking about a successor to SS3. Highly unlikely. The whole point of SSJ3 is that it's all of the user's power (think "Super Saiyan Omega" instead of SSJ2 + 1 transformation). Meanwhile, the point of the blue-haired transformation in the new film is that...

Re: How did Gohan regress so much?

We already went through this before, just because his eyes have that sharper stylistic design doesn't mean his power is still there. It also represents his maturity. Even if he loses his power he's not going to lose that. He lost them in ROFL. True, but he's finished his Ph.Ds or whatever by the ti...

He was shown as a baby in the manga, but it was in Raditz's thoughts and in no way gave any context or surrounding details. It was just an image of a baby Goku in a word balloon. There was no spaceship, no... Freeza war (I'm not even sure what that is)... no information whatsoever other than implyi...

Simple, read the manga first, then read Minus. Couldn't you just explain your complaint, rather than telling me to look for what you have a problem with in the hopes that I actually, by some miracle, manage to find out what your complaint entails? And I thought you knew about it... Okay, Goku was i...

Re: So the super saiyan god transformations...

Now you're just making stuff up. Nowhere is it ever implied that the power's strength is heat based. One's red, an equally strong (or even weaker) form is blue. It's not bad storytelling based on chemistry, it's just art styles.

Re: Possibly a broken ability.

We don't know for a fact that they can choose which clan a baby is born into. In fact, there's evidence pointing to the contrary; it's rare to be a warrior and Saichoru shouldn't have birthed any warriors since he needed farmers. Although to play devil's advocate against myself, the first thing Saic...
