Good podcast, though the screwy microphone was a little bit annoying. I've only been to one anime con, and none of the people there had a Dragon Ball cosplay. There was a Luffy and Nami cosplay though, so that certainly made my day. Hopefully the one I'm going to in March will have some Dragon Ball ...

I just recently purchased the original 2000 DVDs of Bardock-The Father of Goku and The History of Trunks used from Funimation. The DVDs are in pretty good condition, so it was a good purchase.

I think Funimation did a good job with Makafushigi Adventure and Romantikku Ageru Yo. But I think the Japanese versions are still the best...

So is it better than Budokai 3? I think the gameplay in Infinite World is better, and even though they're not that great, the minigames are kinda fun too. But I think Budokai 3 feels like a more polished, complete game. I find the AI to be less annoying, as well. The AI is pretty annoying, with the...

I could see it being dubbed and aired on Cartoon Network by the end of next year at the earliest, as well as a DVD release at about the same time.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm sure this has been shown or brought up before, but for those who haven't seen this picture, I thought I would bring it up.

Like VenomSymbiote above me, I have almost no drawing talent, but I wish I knew who drew this picture.

I just finished it. I must say, it wasn't perfect, but it was still good authentic Dragon Ball. These things were what made this enjoyable for me: -The opening. I don't think any of us expected this. Very awesome seeing a Post-Buu Era version of Chala Head-Chala. -Typical Toriyama humor. "Drawing lo...

3 more days until new Dragon Ball animation. Incredible.

I better not forget...
I can't believe how fast this is coming.

I keep on forgetting myself, so hopefully I remember on Monday.

Back in the 90's, it was definitely popular, but as it stands, Pokémon was, and still is, probably the most popular anime in the U.S., and Naruto and Bleach are pretty much the successors to Dragon Ball Z currently.

It's a shame One Piece never caught on in America like Naruto and Bleach did...

I certainly hope they don't change the music! If Funimation gets a hold of it, hopefully they only change the voices. But knowing their checkered past with Dragon Ball....

Great podcast as usual. Mike don't feel bad, it took me 7 tries to beat the last Freeza battle on normal. And yes, he kept spamming the ultimate attack on me too. This game is definitely way harder than Budokai 3. I had the same problem. It took me a while to beat Chibi Buu also, and I still have to ...

Cell/Android saga... I dunno, I love how it builds to the moment where it's up to Gohan to save the day and then he screws up and Goku sacrifices himself... which was very moving to me the way they did it. Then he appears "in spirit" behind Gohan doing the one-handed KameHameHa. Just a brilliant sc...

They tell you in the mission details. I guess I'm still used to Budokai 3, because I thought you still had to press Circle and left or right in order to do it. But I have it figured out now. Anyways, back on topic. It is quite strange the tournament mode is missing. I do have to admit though, I thi...

Wow, I didn't notice it was missing! Another mode that's missing is the training mode where the characters verbally tell you how to do the techniques of the game. It tells you the techniques in Dragon Missions, but it doesn't tell you the buttons you have to press to do it. I got confused when I had...
