Re: Harmony Gold Dub on YouTube

Here's the original opening from the 80's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuHo3hz0mG0&feature=related That's just the audio synced up to the Japanese intro. Harmony Gold used a textless version of OP 2. Here's the actual one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvHZt8ispmk Thanks for that! Is there a wa...

Re: Rare Dragon Ball 1995 Premiere Trailer

Looks really good! What a monster of a show!
Hm...

Could there be stuff like this for ol' Saban-era Z as well? I wonder how that'd be like...

Hmm...this isn't good. I smell death in the air.

They never even got a textless version?

Re: Harmony Gold Dub on YouTube

Dragon Ball Densetsu is the ending sequence to movie 3 -- where Gokū and co. summon the dragon to revive Bora. It's credited on every release and/or airing on the planet except Harmony Gold's dub. So until he uploaded this, nobody's ever seen anything behind the blue rectangle with the credits scro...

I'm confused, what exactly is Densetsu? i was talking about the intro.

I think it's great that they're trying to help Japan. My lord: Christopher Sabat The voice of Piccolo, Vegeta, Yamcha, Mr. Popo, Bubbles, Burter, Grandpa Gohan, Guru, Jeice, Kami, King Vegeta, Korin, Moori, Porunga, Recoom, Shenron, Turtle, and Zarbon Mike McFarland The voice of Master Roshi, Mez , ...

Re: Harmony Gold Dub on YouTube

I've been using the Dragonbox footage. There's no real 'censoring,' just a bunch of edited out sections of video (as outlined earlier.) My biggest question would probably be; how could we get a creditless "Dragon Ball Densetsu" sequence? I could get the video to be one half Harmony Gold, one half J...

Re: Harmony Gold Dub on YouTube

And what do you put into these gaps? I think you don't understand what I've done. What I actually did is took the dragon box footage and redid every edit that Harmony Gold did myself/with a friend, which is why I had such a detailed list. I didn't fill the gaps, I removed footage wherever gaps show...

Re: Some suggestions I'd like to hear

You could have the two videos of say, the opening playing side by side to compare. Or you could have a split screen to compare as well. Like a lot of people have said, the Dragon Boxes look great in motion.

Re: This is depressing.

That's somewhat true. However, most of it is shit that only serves to bog down the entire show. Even as a kid, I grew frustrated with how there were plenty of episodes where shit didn't happen. So you can imagine how ecstatic I was when the trip to Namek literally took an episode. That is true, but...

It sucks less than the Funi dub, at least. Yeah...no. I know opinions are opinions and everyone has to right to have one: But you're wrong. So very wrong. I'd rather this not become a favorite dub thread, but honestly I like the Funi dub. More specifically, their in-house cast. My favorite thing is...
