Re: Dragon Ball Super in Polish TV (Polish dub)

Glad to hear you guys will be getting a regular dub! Poland has been getting doings lots of dubs for non-children's anime recently, for shows like Flip Flappers and Netflix titles, so I was hoping Super would be getting a dub too.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Home Release Thread

Heads up guys, starting 9/29, Super is moving to 11:00 because Toonami is expanding to 9:00 and moving things around. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_ ... 8039583372

Also Kai is returning, but it's not clear if it's from the beginning or the Final Chapters.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread

Uh I don't know it anyone's comments on this yet But does the ending dub seriously rhyme "one" with "ones"? To be fair, they are rhyming "everyone"and "ones", and not something new, lots of song do stuff like that. Haven't the weekday run of Super airing the full opening? If anything, we should be ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread

And all is right with the world again. No more Engrish openings! Also, glad to see Nate finally crossover from fan covers to the real deal. He is a really great singer. Too bad Funimation couldn't dub the openings for My Hero Academia, his cover of OP 1 is way, way better than the original.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread

I have to say, Funimation's rendition of "Evil Angel and Righteous Devil" is not half bad, pretty good. Can't wait to hear the full versions for ED6 and this one. Full versions are never happening. He means the full 1 minute version, the Toonami version was cut to 30 seconds. The "full" version wil...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread

Not everyone is obsessed with purity of subtitles like most of you guys. You're watching the wrong show if you're not obsessed with retaining what the writers originally intended. This is not Funimation's product to do with as they please. I can't believe we're still having this sub vs. dub debate ...

You guys need to relax, a few silly lines here and there shouldn't get you so upset. I thought some were kind of funny myself.

Re: Dragon Ball Super International News & Speculation (Read First Post)

Albanian dubs to me are glorified fandubs. I really have no idea how they've gotten away with it for as long as they have. You would think Toei and others would be coming after them in droves and shutting them down, but maybe there's more to the story we don't know about (corruption is commonplace ...

I'm assuming this is another "illegitimately" produced dub, but I'll add it to my list. Thanks for the info red252!

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread

Interestingly, the rerun of episode 1 tonight on adult swim aired with the English covers of chozetsu dynamic and hello hello hello unlike its first broadcast. Wonder if they'll be airing some of the revised dialogue that showed up on the DVDs?

Dragon Ball Super weekday reruns starting July 2nd on Adult Swim

Dragon Ball Super reruns are back. Starting Monday, July 2nd at 8 PM, you can catch every episode of Dragon Ball Super starting at Episode 1 (replacing King of the Hill). This marks the first time in about 10 years Adult Swim has run anime in a daily slot. New episodes of Dragon Ball Super will con...

Audio In finally followed through and aired the dubbed version of the second opening today (episode 81, I believe): https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P_duPEN2xHU# . Henrique Feist did a great job this time around, much better than the last opening.

Re: Turner expands Toonami to Africa!

So Toonami Africa had posted a bunch of clips on their website (http://www.toonamiafrica.com/videos/champa-tournament) featuring the edited version of Super. I haven't had a chance to dig through ten all, but the banter between Vegeta and Jaco was toned down, with Vegeta no longer calling him a "jac...

Re: Dragon Ball Super International News & Speculation (Read First Post)

I noticed that the opening post is unsure if Toonami Africa and the edited Funimation dub ever got past Episode 26. Well, going by this page of the Toonami Africa website , which has clips from the Champa Arc, I'd say they got to at least Episode 33. I wouldn't be surprised if they got even further...

So, was it Bang Zoom episode 1 again?
Yes, apparently it was the BZ dub from ep. 1 again (https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_ ... __tn__=C-R). Guess we'll see if they go beyond ep. 27 next month.

^ That's when it officially starting airing on Toonami on a regular basis, but there was a preview showing that aired about a month before.
