Re: DragonBall Super: Broly - List of countries & other related info

With the news of the new Argentinian dub, can we get a tally of how many languages/dialects the movie has been dubbed into at this point?

Re: Latin American Super Dub Thread

This is very interesting news considering something like this hasn't happened before to my knowledge, with regional dubs being produced within Latin America. Wasn't the movie released in Argentina a few months ago with other Latin american territories? That makes this decision even stranger, but hey...

Been out of the loop for a while, how many episodes have they aired so far?
27 episodes so far. They have shown the Golden Freeza Saga twice and now they are showing again the Battle of Gods Saga (3rd time).
Ok, thanks Red259! :)

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

Is it me or they called Cold both General and Lieutenant in the dub? Yes, they do. That's the only "big" mistake that I found in the dub but it's such a little mistake in an overall wonderfully casted dub that I can't help but let it pass. Unregarded to the Broly movie I have good news and bad news...

Re: I'm done with the dub

To each his own, and sorry you feel that way about the dub, because quite honestly, I think it's one of the best productions Funimation has ever put out. I think it hits a sweet spot in terms of script adaptation, in that we're no longer "making things up as we go along, in a 'brilliant scientist' s...

Re: List of all foreign language dubs

Korea aired the bardock and plan to eradicate saiyans special dubbed. You can watch previews of each here: https://www.jbox.co.kr/v2/Content/Detail/6587 and here https://www.jbox.co.kr/v2/Content/Detail/6586. Korea and France are the only territories that got those specials, as far as I know. Cool,...

Re: List of all foreign language dubs

Good to know India dubbed Dragon Ball Kai. Do you know if they also dubbed Kai TFC? Nope, they just did eps. 1-98 of Kai. P.S. Did the Hindi dub have any episodes with the Yamamoto score? That dub aired after all the other dubs had switched over to the Kikuchi track, so I think they used the replac...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

I'll admit, I'm a little behind with what's going on with your guys' dub, what happened for Feist to get himself possibly blacklisted? Also, yeah, what's up with that unlisted youtube video? Is it something do with that contest Gafonso6 posted about? Are they testing the waters for new/ different v...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

Also, very random question, but does anyone know what happened to TPA Portugal's blog? I go there frequently, but just the other day it's asking if I have an invite. Did he lock it to the public or something? Don't worry, the owner of TPA is just doing some changes to the blog. Ok cool, I was worri...

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

Interesting developments, considering Dragon Ball's always been one of SIC's headlining shows. Just for curiosity, are they still airing DBZ reruns? Not since Super began. Hmmm, well maybe that's that for Dragon Ball's run on the channel. That's too bad considering the franchise's long history ther...

Re: Vic Mignogna

It depends on the severity of the crime. When you say womanizer, do you just mean he sleeps with a lot of women? In terms of this issue, it's not an issue of erasing actual history, it's replacing an actor's performance. That's not the same as a history book leaving out the Holocaust. I think it's ...

Re: Vic Mignogna

I think it depends on a lot of different factors. For instance, if it's relatively easy to do, why not get rid of the history? It's like how WWE dealt with footage containing Chris Benoit after the double murder of his wife and child. It's FAR easier to distance themselves from his history than it ...

Re: Vic Mignogna

Not sure the complete removal of alleged me-too perpetrators from their work in past media is the best way of going about things. I think it just leads to more drama, more divisiveness, and detracts away from the true message of the movement, which is putting an end to sexual abuse and misconduct. I...

Only about 22.

Also, it looks like Broly increased viewership a bit!

I sort of expected the wiki was wrong so thanks for the confirmation.

Also, glad it wasn't just me, I thought maybe something was wrong with my inbox :P .

Re: DragonBall Super: Broly - List of countries & other related info

Of all these countries and territories listed, is anyone keeping track of how many of them are showing dubbed versions of the movie? From my understanding there's English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Catalonia, Basque, Portugal Portuguese (unofficially announced...

Re: DragonBall Super: Broly - List of countries & other related info

No, you aren't wrong. Even countries that have a dub for DB Super (Germany, Taiwan, South Korea) don't dub the movie for some reason. I think they should dub the movies if they want to attract more kids. OK, I thought so, but I just wanted to make sure. I think Germany will eventually release a dub...
