Re: Dragon Ball Super in Portugal

Audio In finally followed through and aired the dubbed version of the second opening today (episode 81, I believe): https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P_duPEN2xHU# . Henrique Feist did a great job this time around, much better than the last opening.

Re: Turner expands Toonami to Africa!

So Toonami Africa had posted a bunch of clips on their website (http://www.toonamiafrica.com/videos/champa-tournament) featuring the edited version of Super. I haven't had a chance to dig through ten all, but the banter between Vegeta and Jaco was toned down, with Vegeta no longer calling him a "jac...

Re: Dragon Ball Super International News & Speculation (Read First Post)

I noticed that the opening post is unsure if Toonami Africa and the edited Funimation dub ever got past Episode 26. Well, going by this page of the Toonami Africa website , which has clips from the Champa Arc, I'd say they got to at least Episode 33. I wouldn't be surprised if they got even further...

So, was it Bang Zoom episode 1 again?
Yes, apparently it was the BZ dub from ep. 1 again (https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_ ... __tn__=C-R). Guess we'll see if they go beyond ep. 27 next month.

Re: Hungarian Dub of Super (or Kai) Confirmed!

A user from here said the franchise was banned in Hungary because of some kids tried to do bukujutsu from the top of the buildings. But I think it has to do with the ORTT (The Hungarian FCC) deemed DBZ too violent to air and they asked RTL Klub to stop the series in Episode 120. After that, later e...

Re: Hungarian Dub of Super (or Kai) Confirmed!

Dragon Ball - Dragon Ball Z: 1997-1999 Dragon Ball GT: 2011-2012 Thank you very much! Wow, why did it take them so long to dub DBGT? A user from here said the franchise was banned in Hungary because of some kids tried to do bukujutsu from the top of the buildings. But I think it has to do with the ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super International News & Speculation (Read First Post)

When did the Hebrew dub start back up? Last I heard they stopped at 52. Nick Israel aired season 3 last month. @Goku98, Oops, sorry about that. I could have sworn I had the Italian dub on the list, but maybe I accidentally deleted it when I was updating. It's fixed now. Also, I take it back, the Ta...

Re: Dragon Ball Super International News & Speculation (Read First Post)

Hi guys, I had the chance to update the list of territories Super has aired in. One thing to note is that the Korean dub is going to be the first dub to air the universal survival arc outside of Japan, starting tomorrow. Dragon Ball Super has aired in the following international territories thus far...

Re: Dragon Ball Super anime finally gets its Hong Kong debut

Is it just the original Japanese version with subs? https://www.facebook.com/viuhongkong/videos/1595057543908948 Hong Kong usually airs anime in both Japanese and Cantonese. Viu TV hasn't been very clear on how it's being aired. From my understanding, it's only streaming on their site only. Gotta g...

Re: Turner expands Toonami to Africa!

Wow, great find! I had assumed that they were airing it uncut because of the word "damn" being slipped in that one promo of theirs, but guess not. So with that, every series of Dragon Ball thus far has an edited version to go along with it (except maybe the Buu saga of Kai??) I'll reiterate what Ome...

Need Help with Information Regarding Chinese and Korean Dubs of the Franchise

Hi guys, As some of you may know, I've been working on a project to gather information on all of the foreign dubs of Dragon Ball, such as how many episodes were dubbed, released, when it aired, trivia, etc., and putting it all together in a spreadsheet:(which you can find here, it's open and editabl...

Re: List of all foreign language dubs

The Albanian dub intrigues me. The whole dubbing scene is really fascinating over there. Apparently, there isn't much legal oversight and an abundance of piracy in the region, to the point that companies like Toei don't have the time and resources to do anything about it. They have dozens of titles...
