Just in case it wasn't known, as Madman denied it previously, this will be released in Australia. Here's the press release, taken from Madman Entertainment's own boards, posted by Slykura. Hi Dragon Ball Z, SURPRISE! We would like to formally announce that we will be redoing the entire Dragon Ball Z...

It's fun. It's very fun. It's hardly going to change the gaming world but if you can pick it up cheap (got my copy brand new for $29AU), go for it.

"Stuff that has nothing to do with whether or not the magazine is actually any good, or there reviews or worth the paper they're printed on. Hmmm. I suppose my summary sort of negates the post I was going to make. Anyway, EB might have been around for a long time, doesn't make them super awesome in...

I still think that seriously deviating from the story would upset plenty of fans however. Unless you really want to influence everything imaginable. "Oh look, during the fight with Radditz we broke his scouter, now Vegeta and Nappa won't be coming over, I guess we finished the game early, yay!" Tho...

Shame the Wii costs so much !! Isn't Wii the cheapest 'next gen' console? Like, everywhere? And it can play all your Gamecube games, so by the library is already quite large. Anyway, didn't like review too much. But that doesn't surprise. Some of there reason's for the average score seem a bit odd ...

If Hyper Dimension was slightly faster and has a few more characters (and maybe a damn story mode that didn't start at the Furiza saga), it would be my absolute favourite.

I'm really wanting this game to cover more than just the first bit of Dragon Ball Z. I'm also really hoping (despite how improbable) that is has What-If quests.

Can't wait for more information to surface (or for the Outside of Japan release date)!

Most of them don't get reviewed in the Australian magazines I flick through. Someone complained to them about not reviewing Budokai 3, the response was something like "well, it is better, but we don't like Dragonball Z at all!!"

Re: The Validity of the Daizenshuu

Toriyama didn't write the dialogue for the manga? He didn't type it. No. But he wrote it . As far as we are all concerned they are his words . My god. Why didn't you quote the rest of my sentence. Do I need to put smilies so you understand that I was joking? That I purposefully took it that way. Yo...

because it wasn't revealed in the series, but in a supplemental book written by someone other than the authour, it's (say it with me kids): not canon . We've been there already... If you go by the strictest definition of "canon" possible, Toriyama didn't type the dialogues of the manga himself. Doe...

As for Kuririn and Piccolo, they do a split against Nappa in a filler scene, but they both only make three copies. Cell splits into four bodies against Goku, and Tenshinhan says that it comes from his cells, which of course is filler, since Cell doesn't have any of Tenshinhan cells. Comparing fille...

Don't Piccolo and Kuririn both use the Shishin no Ken (the multiple bodies technique)? Admittedly, with only three bodies, but they do use it.

It's not... a bad game, but it's not exactly a good one either. It's very okay, and a decent enough distraction. I don't think I could stand to play it without frameskip on an emulator, though. It's a very, very slow game. A little too slow.

I've... always preferred the Gohan achieves Super Saiyajin 2 and destroys the Cell Juniors more in the anime than the manga. I know it's not a fight in the strictest sense, it's always just done more for me animated.

In my own mind, I like to think Tenshinhan learnt the Kaio-ken technique which was a part of the reason for his pure awesome against Cell and later Buu (you cannot deny that standing up to Buu like he was did was a smart move). But, I'm biased to Tenshinhan.

Eh, for nearly 10 years now there easily have been three Star Wars games per year. You don't hear them complaining. Yeah. I'll stop complaining when we get a damn New Jedi Order game. The Super Famicom had more than 7. I'm sure of it. Three Butouden's. Super Saiya-jin Densetsu. Hyper Dimension. The...

There were definitely not enough episodes by the "New Type", as you call it.

However, the "Closest to Toriyama" and "Next Best" styles are really very similar. And come in a close second.
