Tomorrow I'm spending $50 at Best Buy (I have a gift card). This review is making it hard for me to chose between Sparking, Budokai 3, and/or (a) Dragonball-related DVD(s).

True. I don't have much merch beyond the occsaional manga volume and some video games (and this old limited edition T-Shirt) but if I were to have one thing (seven things) DB related I'd get those... and continue to have a life.

That was a really cool video. I couldn't get the directional buttons to show up at first, either. So I just started clicking random places around Vegeta's head and eventually they showed up.

It's been so long since I first found this site that I forgot how I found it.

Of course, back in the day, I was a Planet Namek forum dweller.

Until I saw the game in motion with this video and one other on some game news site I didn't really care about this game.

Now I want a PSP.

I came to the same conclusion myself. There may be no proof of it but that's okay. I'll just use that theory until something comes along that proves otherwise.

Was anyone ever actually confused by "Next Dimension&qu

Was anyone here ever actualy fooled into thinking that the "Next Dimension" was actually some seperate realm as opposed to just being where people go when they die? I remember, before I even knew how butchered the first two seasons of DBZ were, watching the dub on TV and when someone got blasted to ...

Something about this game reminds me of Street Fighter Alpha or something. I think it's the way the Qi attacks work.

Sweet! I got quoted! I was hoping for that to happen in a podcast!

Besides that, though, great podcast. The djinn thing was covered and I was really interested in that. I'm glad to know that the Saiyan pronounciation used is likely the right pronounciation outside of Saiya-jin.

Watching with a friend was always fun for me because all through my life the majority of my friends were martial artists. So all of us sitting around watching how hard the Dragon Team/Z-Senshi/whatever work to attain new levels of skill and power always motivated us to train harder together. Of cour...

What do you expect from a nearly-extinct race? Surely you wouldn't expect them to have children with women from Earth.

Nope. :P

I never payed too much attention to GT. However, when I did watch it was always a mix between"THat's kind of cool" and "That makes no sense". Some of the fighting was cool. Some of the "searching for Dragonballs" stuff was cool. However, stuff like Goku being blind and that somehow affecting him eve...

THe Majin/Djinn part really won't matter for too long, anyway. If you look at it we end up with Mr. Buu/Fat Buu, Super Buu, and Kid Buu. None of those titles involve Majin/Djinn and those names tend to be predominant amongst fans once more forms of Buu start showing up.

Just remember, though, even though Hercule is what he is commonly referred to in the Viz manga there have been times where Viz points out, either through dialouge, or through those character intros at the beginnings of the volumes that his Japanese name is Mr. Satan. So, it's far from a complete los...

Legacy of Goku 2?

I played the first one and it was... okay. I hear that the first one was bad but the second one was pretty cool. What's the general concensus here on that?

About the comment made about Mr. Satan or "Hercule" in the Viz manga. The change that was made doesn't totally throw aside the anme Mr. Satan. Both "Hercule" and Mr Satan are known names for the character in the Viz manga. "Hercule" is just the name that is most commonly used in the Viz manga. Howev...

About Kikoho. Kiko is the Japanese word for Qigong. Qigong can also be spelled as Chi Kung. Chi Kung Blast isn't really wrong. I can't ac urately say much about Makankosappo, though. In terms of Djinn, it only bothered me at first because I did't quite know how to pronounce it. I tend to only call h...

Maybe AKA got the CDs before the deal was sealed?

Hopefully if FUNi is that mad about it that they'll release the CDs themselves. If they go to this trouble without releasing the CDs it won't really make sense.
