Re: What do you think about the Full Color Edition of the ma

Personally, I really like it. There's some clear issues where something was coloured totally black but aside from that, I think it's good.

I'm a little confused by your post?

The song you linked is in Kai - it's used as Vegeta delivers his dying speech to Goku about the Saiyans.

Looks promising but please, for the love of the dragon balls, fix the aspect ratio on that video.

Well shit, that's what I get for trying to read in the early hours of the morning. Edited my post to include what he was looking for...I think.

Re: Another comparison shots thread. Sorry!

Seems like they're from the same master except the Blu-Ray is of a higher resolution. Seems to be the case for all of them really. Comparison from History of Trunks: http://i4.minus.com/iQlhqcYV0Kfw1.jpg Full Size: http://i4.minus.com/iQlhqcYV0Kfw1.jpg Quality is obviously higher IRL since this is a...

This all seems so promising. Real shame that no one has the time to translate Vol. 5 onwards. I downloaded Vol 1-4 and it's pretty good so far.

Re: Another comparison shots thread. Sorry!

Side by side shots of the image quality or packaging? Image quality on the Blu-Rays are great. The only downside is that they've been cropped from 14:9 to 16:9. Not a big deal at all really as you're not exactly losing all that much headroom. But yes, image quality is great, very sharp and all the g...

Re: What is funny but dumb things you heard a Db fan say?

Most recently I saw this beauty on YouTube http://i.imgur.com/CkWHow1.png I pray it was a troll but honestly, I don't think it was. I also saw someone claiming that the 'I am the hope of the universe' speech was the most memorable line in Dragon Ball Z (and not for being bad). This was on the offici...

Re: Favourite art style throughout the series?

Dragon Ball Z episode #279, as supervised by Masunaga Keisuke, featured a lot of good key animation from future Pocket Monster animator Iwane Masa'aki . Iwane and the overall general look of Studio Cockpit episodes is perhaps my favorite of Dragon Ball Z 's rotation, next to Seigasha episodes. That...

What magical TV has the ability to strip the green tone out the image without changing the other colours in the image?

Also, we are not ignorant to the art styles at all. The reason I joined, (which feels like yesterday I still remember it!) was becasue of an art style comparison and comprehensive look at it. My first Thread was an art style thread too! Lastly, the site has a part dedicated to the art style in whic...

Re: Favourite art style throughout the series?

I like the idea of your chart, but I think it's a bit incomplete. You're taking screen captures at random, usually from Last House episodes. I suggest giving the Kanzenshuu Animation Styles Guide a look over and studying which episodes have which animation studio and animation supervisor working on...

Favourite art style throughout the series?

I recently put this together for the DBZ subreddit before realising that community is unbelievably ignorant so as a new member of these fantastic forums, I'd love to see what you guys consider your favourite art style! http://i6.minus.com/ibhuQqcI0gnCbr.jpg Personally, I'm a very big fan of the newe...

Oh OK, so actually, if you grew up with the Ocean dub, would that mean you technically got the Blue Water dub of GT where you lived? 'Cause they used the original music. I have no idea. I never caught it on TV nor would I remember. This would be a first viewing after all these years and after being...

Re: Dragon Ball GT Dub Thoughts?

However, the one thing that I would URGE you to do is listen to it with Tokunaga's score, whether you listen in English or Japanese. I'm not a fan of Bruce Faulconer's score...in plain truth, I really, really don't like it. So I was amazed to find that I liked the new English dub score for GT even ...
