This is quite nice to know. First off I see that nwoo_2002 posted up a website where we can purchase custom DVD's Boxes for the Frieza Saga, which never has had a Box Set, unless you own the VHS version, and now I learn that the Frieza DVD's are 50% off from DeepDiscountDVD.com! Guess I'll have to d...

Wow, those actually amazed me. So much as I'm probably going to get the DragonBall GT Box, as well as, the Frieza one. Though I don't know if I should get the GT Box which holds just GT, or GT & the Lost Episodes, seeing as I already have a case for the Lost Episodes. Now all I have to do is ord...

Thirty episodes later, Namek'jin Ryu is back, commenting on a Podcast. Yeah, I couldn't believe it either, I was interested in finding out which Podcast I listened to last (besides the 1 year episode) and it was #0036 back in July. I had no idea it had been that long since I last commented one. I ha...

There were 44 volumes made. Although Vol. 42 Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta is the last one. There is a Vol. 00 Goku that can be purchased from the link I provided, and then a Movie Collection 3-Pack that is very rare to come by.

DragonBall Z Specialty Store Wow, out of all the places I used to get mine, that is the only one that still has theirs up. The other sites either completely removed their sections or had SOLD OUT printed acrossed them. So hopefully those aren't all sold out too. If all else fails eBay would be the ...

I can understand where you are coming from, mister yummy . I at one time used to play with the Action Figures as well, but I've learned that the more you play with them, let alone take them out of their package the value goes down dramatically. So now I just collect. I don't have any intention of se...

I'll have to agree with nathantheguitarist , mister yummy . I don't want figures that I can play with, or one's that can be classified as Barbie Dolls. All I really hope for is that the company to pick up the license will make figures very similar to the Super Battle Collection line. Where there is ...

I thought I'd never feel this way about DragonBall/Z/GT figures again. Mainly because Jakks Pacific shot down every last hope I had had for their figures last year. This years Toy Fair didn't impress me much either. A couple of good figures I'll get, but nothing more then that. I kind of feel like a...

Jakks dropping DBZ license ... is this the end?

You read the topic title correctly! Strait from Jakks Pacific, they have recently verified that this will definately be their last year with the DragonBall Z toy license. This year, 2007, will be their last. So the questions I have are: Who do you think will pick up the license? Which company do you...

I have all forth-three Super Battle Collection figures. Damn you, and your Vol. 07 Super Vegeta! I've bought that thing twice from the net, and still never got it... it's a shame, cause it was my first ever SBC (I lost the one I had originally... oh well, it was '98 or so...) We must not forget tha...

Toy Fair 2007!

After scanning this place for a thread, besides the American DBZ figures one, I decided to create one for the Jakks DBZGT Toy Fair 2007. Below are pictures of the figures set to come out this year... Trunks & King Cold (2-Pack) Goku & Burter (2-Pack) Nappa & Vegeta (2-Pack) Jeice Super S...

I really like the SBC figures. I have two of them. I really like them too! Except I have forty -two of them :D Ok, I'll stop rubbing it in... especially since I don't have a camera >.< I have all forth-three Super Battle Collection figures. We must not forget that there was a Volume 00. I've gone b...

Boy, I'm glad I only own 4 or 5 of the 3-episode discs. And most of those I got used for half-price, or they were gifts. :D So now, after waiting so long, I can finally go all-out and purchase any remastered sets I choose. That is another thing I hate. I bought some of the VHS's back when DVD's wer...

Re: Are we being played?

What if FUNimation realized that making remastered DVD sets of DBZ would probably be the last time they could milk the franchise significantly, so they intentionally added something to their final product that would irritate many fans: cropped widescreen. But since FUNi knows DBZ fans to be weak-wi...

It has certainly been awhile since I've been to this site and posted, but this thread caught my attention. So I decided to post something... One thing that I absolutely got tired of as DragonBall Z went on was how much time the Z-fighters would spend powering up. Sometimes it seemed as if their powe...

When I first read about the Season Box Sets back when it was just being announced I was pretty ticked off at FUNimation for reason's I will not mention again. Just search for the daizex site on the Internet Wayback Machine, and click the message board... I don't know if that is what it is called or not, but I go to the MFG Boards, and at one time one of the Board Founders posted up what the old MFG's looked like. (Now we're up to like version 4, 5, or 6....
