Probably the ones not composed by Yamamoto. I heard the Toonzai airing of episode 37 kept Freeza's insert song.ringworm128 wrote:I wonder if there going to keep the insert songs in?

Re: King Cold
Well, to shorten all that, all I'm trying to say really is it sure as heck LOOKS like what we were shown as a suppressed form. Just like if we saw a Saiyan with long golden hair and no eyebrows, we'd know from looking that it's Super Saiyan 3, and wouldn't really have any reason to assume otherwise...

However, Toei officially classifies it as an OVA.CODii wrote:As a matter of fact I do. It was split into two VHS tapes called "Official Visual Guides."GS7X7 wrote: And do you know what the VHS it originally premiered on referred to it as?"

Re: Is Viz's "Serpent Road" acceptable?
Snake Road would be a direct translation of the kanji, but I don't know if Shueisha has ever used it officially. I know I've at least seen "Snake Way" on the map in DB Landmark. Don't remember if they called it that in a Daizenshuu as well...

Re: Was Ultimate Gohan stated by Toriyama to be the stronges
You know I was believing this until I watched the episode with my brother, and when Goku said they shouldn't go outside, my brother who believes Gohan to be strongest, said, "Well, look at how small they are", then it made sense in a different perspective I think Goku knew he'd return to ...

Would you peg Goku for 12 at the start of the series, if you hadn't been told via dialogue that he was that old?

And it's not as if we can't see his huge FUNimation bias from a mile away, either. Everyone has bias. That's how opinions and such work.

I've always liked #16. His fight with Cell was really cool. Who would've thought that he was actually the strongest of the group?

Hey dbgtFO, could you post the Japanese panel where Gohan speaks about the level of Super Saiyan Goku and Vegeta were at during their battle? I'd like to take a look at the wording on Japanese.

Speaking of the Eva dub, that one wasn't so hot, either. This kind of crap happened there as well. (Oh Eva fandom, how I love your lack of sub/dub wars...)Herms wrote:Did they think they were writing for the EVA dub or something?

Re: Majin Buu in Mirai Trunks Era
Just to be clear, Daizenshuu 7 only says that Boo wasn't revived in Trunks' and Cell's timelines because there was no longer anyone on Earth with large energy. It doesn't say anything about Babidi taking Boo's ball from Earth in those timelines. Oops, my bad. Without the book in front of me, I was ...

Re: Majin Buu in Mirai Trunks Era
For all we know, it could take Babidi a hundred years to collect all of the energy needed. Or it could take just as long to get back to Earth. Boo hadn't appeared by the time future Trunks was in his twenties, even though the present Trunks was only seven when it happened. All the Daizenshuu had to ...

Sure, he might eventually come back to Earth. What's the problem there...?Wobbuffet wrote:Is this really stated?
If Buu was taken elsewhere, he would awake elsewhere, destroy planets and eventually reach Earth. This don't sound as a "definitive answer" for me.

Ginyu's the best of the bunch. I like how he sort of had a sense of honor. Of course, he turned into a typical villain when things stopped going his way.

There's also crap like Burdock coming back from the dead to fight, or something like that. Terrible story. They just wanted an excuse to stick all of their fighters into the plot somehow.

Re: Majin Buu in Mirai Trunks Era
The official answer from Daizenshuu 7 is that there wasn't a sufficient amount of energy to revive Boo on Earth (after all, the population of Earth is only in the tens of thousands at that point), so Babidi took Boo elsewhere.

In my personal opinion, Shin Budokai 2's story was actually a gigantic clusterfuck... but I guess that's beside the point.
