It depends. Do you count seiyuus as voice actors or are they something superior?SaiyamanMS wrote:So, apparently no-one gave Madman the memo that Buu Kai is supposedly a secret. Is this the first time somebody who ISN'T a voice actor has said anything about it?

And one wonders why they spent money on remastering the series but didn't bother to do selective cropping.

Re: Kanzenban moves Trunks special
To be fair, that's the one thing I don't like about the Kanzenbans.
Maybe they forgot to add it (or didn't have access to it at the time) and put it at the end?

Re: The Romanization Game!
Well, I have this:
It says: Summary: a superior god makes Piccolo nervous while Goku gets the magic beans to save Biddle... Bad vibrations enter the tournament!
This is a really old edition of the manga (1992, I think). Modern versions use Videl.

Re: The Legendary Original Super Saiyan
The manga states that he existed and died. You can count EoB as canon if you want. Same with DBSD.
I don't. Bardock died, and he had a kickass death.

Re: Sean Schemmel confirms Buu Saga dubbing in interview
What if they dubbed the Cell Games movie using each other's voices so they didn't fit at all?
I mean, let's use Krillin's voice for Goku, Vegeta's for Krillin, Kid Gohan's for Cell... and so on. It would be even funnier.

Re: The Romanization Game!
Interestingly, "Klilyn" is the romanization used in the official subtitles in the Spanish DVDs. In Spanish it's normally spelled Krilin or Krilín, depending on the dub. Those subtitles also use "Pooal" for Puar. Wow, that game has some pretty bad romanizations, is that because th...

Re: That one defining moment.
I remember that I watched a few episodes of the Cell saga when I was a kid, and I clearly remember four moments: *The reporter announcing how Ginger Town looked deserted with clothes all over the place. *Bulma and Trunks discovering another time machine. *Piccolo and Kami fusing. *Cell absorbing a m...

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2013 Movie Thread: "Battle of Gods
I'm going to be fair about these rumors from Latin American magazines and websites: they're all bull... well, you get the idea. I don't want to push the limits. We Spanish (from Spain) fans are pretty fed up of all that nonsense which gives all the Spanish-speaking community bad reputation because s...

As they said above, Vegeta's miscoloration is a mistake which shouldn't be corrected if you're trying to color-correct the footage so it looks like it had originally been.
Kai is a different thing.
EDIT: OMG... I made it to the 100th page...

To be fair, I don't mind if color correction is made, but cutting these chunks from the screen...
Now imagine if they removed grain and color-corrected the episodes basing themselves on the broadcast recordings. Now that would be awesome.

Re: Anime affect Manga in own language and elsewhere?
I normally hear the Spanish voices whenever I read DB. However, if it's an English version (for example, a fan comic or something like that) the voices I hear are Funimation's. The same happens to me with other comics (and I may invent the voices if I don't know how they sound). However, when I read...

Re: Seriously, why was the Westwood Dub so bad?
To be fair, I've watched many clips of the Westwood Dub and I don't think that it's bad at all. Just rushed. I don't think the music is that bad either. Does it change the show completely? Yes it does. But then again, doesn't Faulconer's music do it too? The music, as 90sDBZ says, is the heart and s...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Devolution
I've just tried it up to Nappa (I didn't have much time) and I have to say that I've loved it. However, I think that you should change Piccolo's image. It looks like Piccolo Daimao more than Piccolo Jr, even in the beginning of DBZ. Other than that, I have no complaints. The music is also excellent,...
