This has always bothered me as a plot hole similar to why Ginyu never body changed with Frieza. If you body change - why always with Goku? Why not go even further beyond? Zamasu could have body changed with Grand Priest or Zeno right? Why didn't he do that?

Yeah both canon but some things are only in one continuity but not the other. For example, SSG Vegeta is canon to the manga only whereas SSJ Rage is canon to the anime only.

Wow finally Z style 'gritty' animation is back! Only took them 110+ episodes to do it. I MUCH prefer this style of animation - with all the bruises and dirt and scars and battle worn damage on everyone it just looks much more realistic. And also bringing back the narrator as well.. nice!
