As far as this seems this is probably gonna be like a Mobile Suit Gundam movie. Except that the series itself is doable in 100 episodes. I just hope that nothing really gets rushed or stuff that was important in the original series gets cut is my only problem.

Exactly, just look at the SSJ2 transformation scene in Japanese. Like the song or not it was a big deal to have an insert song along with that footage. I'll agree with everybody else One Piece is pretty much Dragon Ball's brother. I can't really speak for Naruto but I see more resemblance in tone toward Dragon Ball than anything.
