I also think having Future Trunks returning would be cool.

Hopefully most of those are jokes since Gokuu isn't exactly a video game character. He very much belongs to the manga and anime world.

A bit of both I'd say. It all comes down to what you base intelligence off of. Obviously he isn't academically gifted but he sure is when it comes to martial arts, tactics and training. As for making judgements in the Boo arc, he does come off as more of an idiot than naive.

Yes, the final chapter was great. Abandoning any chapter wouldn't sit right with me. I don't see why there's a need to contradict anything when there's lots of room in the timeline to make dozens of movies and spin offs.
