Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - Announcement & Discussion Thread
Doesn't Goku day technically begin 10 hours from now? That's right, around late tonight it'll be morning in Japan for Goku Day, now I'm not one of the people saying that there's definitely going to be an announcement of a Super 2.0 but if nothing gets announced, the last time in this month for a po...

Re: Should DragonBall only be movies, seasonal or a weekly show?
I wouldn't mind 100 episodes for one "season" and a movie to end that season, so basically Super 1.0 ends with the Broly film, then Super 2.0 ends with a film as well so on and so forth.

Re: Is DBS: Broly overrated?
I loved the movie but I have a question for everyone: why does it matter if something is 'overrated'? I guess the idea is that a person may not like something that other people mostly like, so to them it's overrated. Like The Dark Knight is considered one of the best comic book films of all time bu...

Re: Vic Mignogna
If they did what you want, things would not change. This is consistent with most of history and this scandal is no different to any before it. Vic stans know what they're doing, and they're not ashamed. There is no rule that says they should be treated nice and easy, only the sentiment that to do o...

Re: Vic Mignogna
What I'm saying is is what's the point of making this a social media thing? why didn't these people come together and make a kickstarter to pay for a civil lawsuit against Vic? why bring it to twitter? what is the real point of this other than creating drama which is what this has caused? for exampl...

Re: Vic Mignogna
This is so you people, all of this is nothing more than gossip, why do we have to know about personal matters between family or friends? it used to be that that was handled between the family or friends but no, something happens ya gotta put it on Instagram or Twitter. "Like oh my gosh like did...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - Announcement & Discussion Thread
I very specifically use the words 'could' and 'For all we know it could be' because I have no idea when an announcement will be made or when the actual broadcast will begin. July is becoming more realistic but my hope is October so that if GeGeGe no Kitarou (2018) does end after six cours then the ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - Announcement & Discussion Thread
What we know for sure beyond any reasonable doubt is that the production has started, but does the same goes for the date as well? There are people saying that the July airdate is an educated guess and people saying that it is 100% certain. I don't want to keep nitpicking about Geekdom, but he has ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - Announcement & Discussion Thread
Wrong. Geekdom does reviews, speculation, debunks, news updates, basically everything besides video game coverage or animation/production. And he’s seen as trust worthy because: 1. He’s kinda obsessed (but in a good way) with being one of the most credible sources and is very prideful when it comes...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread
Would you waste the entire first 29 episodes of your show padding for time to get on-pace with a boring-ass story from a manga most of your viewers aren't even reading, for a single arc, only to go back to what you were doing for the last 131 episodes? This is why I believe we're not getting a new ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - Announcement & Discussion Thread
I remember when everyone didn’t believe Geekdom about a certain character being in the movie too. That was pretty amusing as well. I don't remember that many disbelieving Gogeta being in the movie. Though maybe that's just because I remember Geekdom's meltdown over those few people even suggesting ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - Announcement & Discussion Thread
Hype means more viewers for their content. Even if they were caught people would rather believe some anonymous figure duped them for half a year. Their sources are multiple animators from Toei. So it is not just some random person . Doesn't Japan have youtubers just as big as Geekdom and Ajay? Why ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - Announcement & Discussion Thread
So where is the announcement? You're not trying to say that guru geekdom was WRONG? Apparently people are "pushing" the date further to September or October on Twitter, as a "just in case" there's nothing announced for July. It's like I said in an earlier post that if the ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - Announcement & Discussion Thread
Well, I am curious. I was laughed at by everyone months before, even as there wasn't any proof ''Duh, of course Super is coming you dumbass'', and now, still without any proof, just claims, I sit still and wonder. I will be surprised and happy if Super continues, but I am holding my horses. Basical...

Re: It’s time for fans to come together and remaster the series properly.
I have a question regarding "uncropped" version of DBZ on those websites thar illegally post the episodes, obviously I'm not going to mention a specific website but I'm curious if anyone knows which version of DBZ 4:3 is uploaded on those websites.

Re: Which Toriyama artstyle has realistic muscles
Frieza Saga/Arc specifically post-SSJ Goku event onwards, it seemed Toriyama started emphasizing on realistic, defined muscular design. Android Arc was no different. One look at ASSJ & USSJ Veggie & Trunks and you'll understand Saiyan~Namek Arc still had dat cute roundedness to them. But Fr...

Which Toriyama artstyle has realistic muscles
I've wondered this among Toriyama's ever changing art style, of all the styles he's had through out Dragon Ball, which of his art styles had the most closest to realistically drawn muscles. Basically if you tried drawing a portrait of a real human who's buff because I know there's cartoon muscle det...

Re: Has there ever been an English va that captured Masako Nozawak's performance as Son Goku?
Maybe Barbara Goodson and Saffron Henderson for young Goku, but for adult Goku I don't think anyone has managed it. I wouldn't agree with Saffron but man does Barbara sound the closest to an English Nozawa, the demeanor is perfect as well as the vocal pitch. It works even though the script is wrong.
