After Goku first transforms into a Giant Ape, Bulma asks if he's an alien. And when he's facing Major Matallatron (or whatever that robot thing is), it scanned him, and in big capital letters, it said "ALIEN".

It started out that way, but the series progressed and evolved into something a lot more epic and serious. I don't care how it was meant to be or how it started. Hey you have the right to your opinion. I just like the Frieza Saga Piccolo voice. I like it more than the later Piccolo voice. Still, when compared to Scott McNeil, Mr. Sabat fell a few miles too short.

For Piccolo it was. For every other character it wasn't.

The reason I like his Frieza Saga Piccolo voice is because it was a bit more raspy as opposed to him speaking like some drone.

I'm glad Chris Sabat left Piccolo's old voice in the Frieza Saga. I think it sounds much better. I could fall asleep listening to Piccolo from the Majin Buu Saga for too long. It also sounded more different from Vegeta's voice than later on.
