I'm starting to wonder if Mr. Kishimoto's one of those artists who works better under less time constraints, as his piece up there looks way more vibrant than the stiffness I've seen in his recent work. Oh, definitely. The guy can absolutely draw, I've seen great stuff from him, but that doesn't st...

I switched primarily over to the original about a year or two ago from visiting here, not to mention I just can't take how innaccurate the scripts are. And I hate hearing Chris Sabat before he started being cast properly.

Did they screw up on Gohan's hair color...? It looks like a banana... Looks like Movie Six coloring to me... Which movie six are you watching, the one I have the characters all have light yellow hair, not this over saturated shit. Why is this important? Consistency... again. This Movie Six: http://...

http://www.dragonball-multiverse.com/en/pages/final/0174.jpg About the choice of a Genkidama Most of you would say that in the movie, Gokû was already doing a Genkidama, except it wasn't said. So I answer, yes and no. In the film, it's a scene from Saint Seiya that's happening. We see weird auras (...

I'm speaking less in terms of style, and more in terms of roughness. I know there are a few panels in the last two volumes were Toriyama's art appears a little lazy and rough, but after eleven years of this stuff, it's undertstandable. But it's hard, at least at this point, to determine if Kishimoto...

Ten years of weekly drawing did a number on Toriyama's art, so Kishimoto deserves some slack (not to mention the series hasn't exactly been light-hearted for years now). I really like Kishimoto's Naruto-Son and his Shen Long. I have to wonder if he and Oda do these little side projects spread over w...

I figure that they're doing this to give themselves time to write/draw more of the story...but why didn't they just do this before they even had any of the actual stuff with Broly? Seems weird to just interrupt the whole sequence of events... I see it more like the flashback in Rurôni Kenshin's Jin...

Remind me again why something we're just "getting through" can't simply be skipped entirely.
That's something you should ask the writer.

Toriyama said in the recent guide books that the body can only be trained so much, so the move to focusing on ki was to make up for the body's inability to get too much physically stronger.

They're just regurgitating the film, at three pages a week, using a different artist than normal. The quicker they get through this the quicker we can get on to other battles.

Yeah, they did soften them during season 3. The same was done with the Saiyan king as in the dub they had him talking about "saving the prince" which he doesn't do at all in the original. However they did play him right in the movie 8 flashback as a ruthless tyrant who bluntly orders the ...

What I don't get and perhaps someone more familiar with Japanese TV can fill me in on this, is that GT regularly pulled a 12 to 15 share (okay, it dipped under 10 twice in 64 episodes) and it got canned but Kai does a little worse and its still the hot new thing. Am I missing something? Sure, GT wa...

Gentlemen, gentlemen: this is a Dragon Ball forum. That said, Final Fantasy IX is the best Final Fantasy game. Suck it. :P

Fun podcast as usual, but I do say...switching to the second recap music for next episode would be beastly beyond all logical perception of beastly for a podcast.

How do you know this?! Lol. Several years ago, at the time in which the show was originally airing (so for the Ocean dub, we're talking 2001-2003), there was a website devoted to the Ocean dub called UK Dragonball. The guys who ran that site were the ones who were able to find the most information ...
