I thought Nova and Goku's relationship was fine, the only downside is that Nova's death felt anti climatic. Then again another thing that was wasted on GT.

Yeah the only one who seems to have a personal connection is Nova, but that's just because the four star ball was Goku's personal treasure from his grandpa.

The only good thing about GT is the Super Saiyan 4 transformation. Other than that, the entire series full of bad ideas and provides the worst possible ending you could imagine without even giving any reasoning for it. Super is everything that GT isn't. Thankfully. If we had Goten, Trunks, Uub and Gohan have a more of a vital role in the shadow dragon arc, then I would be more mixed. However at this point, I'd say Super because of the slice of life episodes and it's not afraid to focus on other characters outside of Goku and Vegeta.

I enjoyed them for the most part, the poacher episode was meh, but other then that it has been fun. The Gohan vs Goku episode was great.

Honestly DB is fine the way it is. Yeah they could easily cut the series down 30 episodes, but It wouldn't be as huge as 120 episodes that was able to be used for Z.

Another thing bother's me is people assume Super overwrites Z's ending, when in fact it doesn't. Just because they don't mention what happened to them in the 10 year gap doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Yeah if anything, we were introduced to Goku Jr in the TV special that aired before, so it's not like they were an after thought. Although Vegeta Jr could have been.

My top 5 1. When the other Z-Warriors are helping Gohan, and we get resolutuion to their characters. Like Piccolo saying how Gohan was his first freind, Krillin not giving up, Tien saying he wouldn't be where he was without Goku, and Yamcha wanting to help Gohan when he couldn't help Goku. 2. While the ending of Z is nice, it always felt a little off, but with GT's ending, despite being a mix bag, the ending felt like everything tied together. I also got a little emotional and I still do when i watch it.

My bad, i misread it, Chaozu just doesn't seem to contribute much to be considered apart of the main 5 in the Piccolo Jr. arc.
