Goku and Vegeta had some nice character moments, and Majin Buu kicking ass is a pleasant surprise.

I think we all also need to consider that funimation literally has the findings from an investigation into Vic on their side to use if necessary, so I have no doubt they have a bit of evidence to inform why they made their decision.
