Re: I don't care if they use the term 'ningen'...
I'm not him. I don't know or care why we have the same name. C'mon, pal, who are you trying to kid? Does that have anything to do with the useage of ningen in Dragon Ball? Is there much else to talk about? It's pretty apparent that you've decided that you define the word ningen . What else do you w...

Re: I don't care if they use the term 'ningen'...
Oh. Yeah, I'm not the SuperForteX from GameFAQs.com And yet his account is 4 months older than your account on DaizEX. So why do you share names? Were you trying to impersonate him ? I'm calling bullshit. I understand you're embarrassed that you got caught talking shit on another site, but there's ...

Re: Does Freeza have to go through each of his transformatio
So you think if SSj Goku showed up while Freeza was still in his 1st form, that Freeza would waste 5-10 minutes doing his transformations one at a time? No, we've seen in official licensed media he can transform instantly, or at least rapidly. I don't know what would happen. I'm just saying that th...

That doesn't really make any sense, so I think I'll be moving along then.

Re: Does Freeza have to go through each of his transformatio
That stuff only applies to those specific video games, though. None of that ever happened in the manga. What if I asked you something like, 'Who killed Cargot?' Freeza did it in the manga, but Dodoria was the killer in the anime. Is the answer "Freeza and Dodoria?" No, the answer is that C...

Re: Does Freeza have to go through each of his transformatio
It's all "official," since they're all official products. But they're different continuities. What happens in a video game applies only to that game.

In fact, doesn't Japanese merchandise use "Darbura"?Herms wrote:ダーブラ/Daabura also has an extended "a" sound not present in the word it's based on, that everyone seems to ignore. Arguably it should be romanized as "Darbra", same as we do with "Zarbon".

Even if it did, ten tons is still ten tons. It's not like South Kaio added ten Earth tons to Goku's limbs.dbgtFO wrote:^Heaven doesn't have ten times Earth's Gravity.

Re: Theory for no Saiyan tails
It's similar to Xyex's old theory, where Super Saiyan starts to develop as an even better replacement for Ozaru after losing one's tail. I remember one interview which Toriyama was asked, and he said that they don't need the tail anymore once they became too strong. However I don't know the validit...

Re: King Cold
Good point there. Yeah, I'm not a fan of making assumptions based on absolutely no evidence. I'd be ok with assuming Bra could transform into a Super Saiyan eventually, or something, but there aren't nearly enough examples of Freeza's race in the manga to determine whether Cold could transform or not.

Re: What would happen if Vegetto turned SSJ4?
I don't. I feel that way about topics where Person A says Person B is wrong because of made-up evidence that Person A talked about but it isn't enough for Person B and so on. I could've sworn you told me that statements are supposed to be taken as absolute fact? So it's ok to use reasoning to dispr...

@Fox666: No, if I recall correctly, Toriyama was explaining that Freeza and Cold were so freakishly powerful because they were basically freaks of nature.

Yep, it was the very first issue. Does anybody have the exact quote?Herms wrote:Toriyama said something kinda like that in one of the issues of Viz's Shonen Jump. If I remember right, it was Freeza's grandfather who was supposed to be the initial mutant.
