Re: 16:9 vs 4:3
I was, really. You see, I'm used to stretching 4:3 images to 16:9 and I like it that way. But I guess having black bars is no big of a deal either. I suppose later I'll rip the episodes and burn them as video files so I can upscale them again. And in the meantime I can still enjoy my Dragon Bo...

Re: 16:9 vs 4:3
Ow, shucks, man. :( I may be a dumb idiot, but I HATE the black bars. I just got my KAI Part 1 BluRay and was devastated when I found out I could not stretch the image... and I already ordered the other sets up to Part 4. :/ It's kind of ironic really, because before getting the BluRay I downloaded ...

Re: Dragon Box vol 5 discussion
Oh, I worried for nothing then. I prefer the Japanese track anyway. Now all that's left is to patiently wait for my box to arrive so I can enjoy it in its full glory!

Re: Dragon Box vol 5 discussion
Wait, so if I watch my box with the Japanese track, the song is there, just not on the English dub, is that so? Because I can definitely live with that.

Re: Dragon Box vol 5 discussion
I'm confused. You're all saying that there is no insert song in the scene when Gohan becomes SSJ2? Why is that? Even if it was missing from the brick sets, why not add it now to Dragon Box, which is the definitive Dragon Ball release outside of Japan? :? It really seems plain dumb to me. I mean, it ...

Oh, that sounds great. Thanks for the info. I've asked other people around if they work on EU PS3's, but I've always wanted to see it with my own eyes before spending a large amount of money. Right then, I guess depending on the salary this month, I'll be getting the rest of them... hopefully.

Re: Parts One and Three Blu-Ray $15.99 on Amazon.
Ditto. I still haven't received my Part 1 Blu-Ray so I can test it on my European PS3. And it seems time is really running out. :( I want to get everything up to Part 4 with the Yamamoto score. Amazon is raising prices slowly again... I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that these sets...

Re: Parts One and Three Blu-Ray $15.99 on Amazon.
I just bought it yesterday after saying that I wouldn't buy even one of these Blu-Rays because of the impending music score change, but I was like "what the heck". 15 bucks is a good bargain after all.

Re: Re-Release w/Kikuchi Score (Speculation)
This is just great. Now I don't feel like buying the Kai Blu Rays at all if they replace the score completely. I mean, I love Kikuchi's score, but I don't think it would fit Kai because of the way it's presented. Man, what a bummer.Even having the first four sets with Yamamoto's score is screwed up ...

Re: Nappa (Pre Abridged)
I love Nappa. Or his character, I mean. He really is nothing special, but I like his character design and the fact that... well, he is a FREAK. He takes pleasure in hurting and killing people and doesn't give it much thought. A man that enjoys life. :P And yes, his Bakuhatsuha technique is one of my...

Aw, man, they need to do that for the PS3. It would be awesome to play BluRay movies and anime without having to worry about region coding.

Re: Crown Jewel Of Your Collection
I love all of my things. Probably since they're not that much. :) But I can safely say that the DBOXes stand out. I've been wanting to own Dragon Ball Z in its entirity for far too long and this is a dream come true... or coming true at least. :P Oh, I also love the hell out of my Dragonball VizBig ...

Re: Autographed Dragon Ball Toriyama Akira T-shirt! Up for g
Wash? Wear? This isn't something that you'd just chuck on to go down to the local market. If this is real you would frame it and put it on your wall. Tsk, at wanting to wear it... Who would pay that much for a shirt drawn on by Akira Toriyama to wear it.. Seriously. I'de wear it. Hell, I'de wear it...

Re: Watch with parents/relatives
Ah, a trip down memory lane. Don't mind if I do. :) Back in highschool DBZ was really hip and most of the guys from our class were fans. Only I remained a fan up to this point, but that is irrelevant to the story. Back then DBZ was airing on CN and RTL II. One of my friends would also ocasiona...

Re: Toriko animated series takes Kai's timeslot in April?!
If Kai gets cancelled that would be such a shame and waste. I mean it's not really that new and interesting, besides the name, but I'm still pretty hoked. I like the new, glossy look. I like how it looks in HD. I like the new animation. It's going to suck if it gets cancelled. :/ Until further notic...

Re: Accurate Cutscenes?
Budokai did it best, hands down. Next would be Burst Limit. It tried to do it the same way, regardless of the fact that it also used a lot of identical animation. The important thing is that key moments from the anime were done very neatly. Next on my list if Infinite World. It also had cutscense fo...

Re: Your Favourite Dragon Ball Moments and Memories from 2010
I guess the biggest moment of 2010 for me was finally getting my hands on the first Dragon Ball VizBIG. Really exciting, as this was the first time reading and owning the Dragon Ball manga. Sadly, I did not manage to buy the rest up to Z, but I'm strongly hoping on achieving that this year.
