Dragon Ball to me is what "Jaws" is to movies. It's way too good for what it was supposed to be. Both had extremely talented craftsmen make something special out of what otherwise should have been "average" at best.

Fox is making a big mistake if they decide to not use Funimation's voice cast. The American fanbase would erupt in a rage. I'd add the Canadian, Australian and UK fan base to that too. One last thing. Considering what I've read on this thread about FUNI really pushing for an accurate dub. Would it be in FUNI's business interest to re-dub portions of the original Dragon Ball Z anime? I'm assuming that they wouldn't, but I'm curious to see what others think.

IMO the way Toriyama explored/contrasted the father-son relationships between Gohan/Goku and Trunks/Vegeta in this arc is some of the best writing in shonen history. It's also some of his most heartfelt writing. I'm surprised that this has been so overlooked on this thread.
