Ah yeah, I forgot to mention that was specific to the manga.

Re: I think Gogeta was much stronger than Broly then first thought
I just re watched the fight and noticed that 1. Gogeta did better against Broly then Blue Goku and Vegeta did and then goes SSJ. 2. Once they are both SSJ Gogeta has a nice advantage over Broly and Broly has to go LSSJ. Now while Broly has the advantage here, I noticed that when Broly classes with ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Agreed about the grounded but more tactical oriented choreography of the humans. Manga wise, these are the first solidly portrayed fights against named enemies in ages. It isn't nearly portrayed enough. I do admit that some details like Yunba rounding his way through a barrage of Kienzans doesn't s...

Pretty curious, how strong do you guys think Cranberry and Boo (post Kai memory) are? Cranberry should be pretty easy, he was expected to beat namekkians at 1000, yet got trashed when they increased their power to 3000. So around 2000. Considering the timeskip, I feel like he should be at 2500-3000,...

Re: Is Supreme Kai Shin the worst character in the franchise?
I wouldn't really say he was the worst character, but I think he's kind of exaggerated, he's like a caricature. He's supposed to be incompetent, because he never finished his training due to the shenanigans with Buu, and so he was thrusted into an important position when he wasn't ready. At the sam...

Re: Team Four Star's influence on Dragon Ball's revival
I'm so sick of seeing TFS quotes every other place I see DB being discussed. I never found it terribly funny, anyway. I understand and admire the effort that went into it, but it never was the funniest thing in the world to me, and the overexposure (which really hit its peak when the TFS fan asked ...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
This Majin Bra arc is so incredibly tedious. Probably the least fun I've had reading DBM since I started following it, which was close to a decade ago. I'm beyond sick of Bra's schtick. I don't follow DBM because I expect a competent or engrossing story; I follow it because of the amazing artwork a...

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
DBZ Kakarot has chimed in on the PL thing: Cell Games Gohan and Goku are at almost 8M, which to me is a little low, but I guess the game lowballs them. Or maybe if I'd leveled up more, we could be talking about higher numbers. All in all, I think the PL they present are pretty decent(not just these...

And even though I had fun with the fights and never seemed to me easy or repetitive, I still wonder if we'll ever get past the DEFEAT THIS STRONGER CHARACTER THAT IN THE SHOW IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO DEFEAT scenario, I'd prefer a SURVIVE FOR A WHILE VS THIS OP FOE gameplay. Take Ultimate Gohan vs Buut...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I think the most interesting qualities of Moro are his creepy demeanor and aura, and how he absorbs energy and builds his minions around it. But yeah, he's pretty generic and was better looking when old. At least, the arc he brings is very good. On a side note, I don't think Hearts killed Zamasu to ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
-snip- Ah I see. That I agree on. But I think an even better writer would've thought a way of making at least either Krillin or Tien somehow useful. I mean, Krillin was useful against the saiyans and in the Namek saga even though he was an ant in both situation. I also think that a good story shoul...

Humans being used as cannon fodder by Frieza isn't good at all for them (the humans). And it shouldn't be compared to the anime. I agree that the anime had monotonous human fights, but a bad product is just a bad product. At least Toei attempted doing something with them.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Tenshinhan being used as bait by Frieza? Fucking great. Huh? So you're saying a character that is shamed after god knows how many years of inactivity is a good thing. No, it's not. As it wasn't good not showing Gohan fighting Kefla, Krillin being sidelined immediately, etc.. A character partecipati...

Not at all. I vastly prefer the anime over the manga, but at least we got that.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Goku and Vegeta at 4mil is very respectable, imo. It would give them 200mil as SSj, quite a step up. If anything, I would argue that Vegeta should be stronger than Goku, since it was implied. Tien and Piccolo is where it's really weird. Piccolo should indeed be stronger than Goku and Vegeta in base...

Ok... weird stuff happening. Very early (vs 19) Android saga, Goku and Vegeta at 4 mil each (I assume for base forms), but Piccolo barely at 6 mil. Tien at 2 mil.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Ok so regarding DBZ: Kakarot's BP, I was very wrong, they are influenced by the character's level. This morning I launched the game and they were at one number, then I started grinding against some minibosses and the numbers increased even though I didn't advance the story. This is the numbers I wro...

I agree. Such an odd approach to BP. And yet, the fact that it's odd shows that they thought about them and probably did some researches as well.ZombieVito wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 4:46 pm Gohan and Kuririn are terribly low lol.
They are suppose to be the strongest after Vegeta and Piccolo when Mecha Freeza arrives.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
It is worth nothing that the new game DBZ: Kakarot has BP for the characters, that get progressively higher. They're just for fun and don't increase with, example, food boost, but still they're very on spot and surprisingly accurate in some cases (ex.: 53k for Vegeta after Recoome battle, 1 mil and ...
