I think he would make a better Freeza than Linda Young, that's for certain. Chuck Huber, along with Brian Drummond and Dameon Clark, is one of the best English DBZ VAs around. I think his portrayal of No. 17 was exceptional and his best role within the series.

I'd imagine now that the DB season sets (probably) are coming out, I would imagine the 2 disc sets will fall in price similar to when the Bardock and Trunks double feature came out. The individual releases of the TV specials fell in price soon after.

I think the Jump special was based off an idea by Toriyama. This is similar to the way filler and the movies were conceived.

When I talk to fans about DragonBall, I find that many don't take GT as canon because of the fact that Toriyama didn't make it or that they didn't like the way the story line turned out. Personally, I have always seen GT as an alternate timeline because I believe that it could have been done better....

It is interesting that there aren't more Saiya-jin in the series. What I have come to believe is that as the weakest of the Saiya-jin are sent away. They may not have the same will to fight as Vegeta and Goku. Case in point Table.

Personally, I would have preferred Gohan to have defeated Buu, as it was being set up for Gohan to be the one defeat him and it seemed like a natural progression the torch is passed from father to son. It's the way of the world. It is natural for companies to rebrand a product, such as DBZ, and then rebrand the merchandise. This will increase awareness of the new product and, as Kai is now basically the new name for the series, increase the chance of someone picking it up.

I believe, at this stage, that FUNimation will not release DVDs of the original series again. The only chance would be for the original DragonBall to get season sets but due to the rights issue for the first 13 episodes I'd say it's highly unlikely (unless Wikipedia is to be believed).
