Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie #2 Thread: "Super Hero"
Well I didn't necessarily say the movie will be filler, it obviously isn't because Toriyama is writing it, but those shark villains genuinely look like filler villains  It's just that they don't look threatening, they look ridiculous/funny, I guess sort of like Fat Buu. They look like cosplayer...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
You are putting to much into people getting torn away. That rarely happens in the series. Because I can't think of times when a severely weaker opponent engaged a severely stronger opponent in PROLONGED FIGHTS MULTIPLE TIMES with his GUARD DOWN in each fight. And plus we see what happens when one f...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Blue in the anime has perfect ki control with barely any stamina loss so it makes no sense for Goku to use lower forms. In the manga they have to by necessity. This isn't accounting for the fact that if SSB Goku truly were on a completely different level, he'd blow away Zamasu just by punching or k...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
This cannot be because P. Zamasu lost to SSJ2 Goku; while F. Zamasu repeatedly forced the Saiyans to turn SSB just to fight him. That's only because of Goku Black. Incorrect, but I shall go through each of the "solo" fights F. Zamasu had with the Saiyans (as in fights he had without Black...

Re: Non-thread-worthy discussions
You kind of missed the whole point of what he's saying. He wasn't saying GT was "anime canon," he was saying it wasn't the same thing as filler. And he's correct on that. Maybe whoever made the guide was going by your logic, but I don't see how that makes them "unbiased." That w...

Re: So Raditz is the black sheep of the family then
The Son family are pretty much the exception. Saiyans are indeed a vicious, savage, and aggressive species that kills and pillages planets for fun. That's why Beerus came to despise the Saiyans as a nuisance and sanctioned the destruction of Planet Vegeta. Because Saiyans are an evil species :think...

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie #2 Thread: "Super Hero"
I don't see this movie doing too well compared to the other DB movies. I noticed way less activity here and in the fandom in general compared to when the Broly movie was announced, although that might also be because we haven't gotten any new content aside from the comic in 4 years (while the Broly ...

Re: Non-thread-worthy discussions
They call GT filler because Dragon Ball content moving forward ignores GT completely (outside of crossover side videogames like Heroes and Xenoverse), and so they are basically telling a new viewer that nothing in that series will be taken into consideration in the upcoming Super content (including...

Re: Favorite Goku Voice?
I don't think anyone has mentioned Black yet so I'll do it. Nozawa slays as Goku Black, it's so eerie and ominous to hear an old woman voice coming out of Black, who is a genocidal God. It subverts expectations completely (because you'd expect a deep and imposing voice for such a villain), but in a ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
It also doesn't explain how Jiren got that strong all on his own, we still have to accept that he is that strong. I don’t think comparing Jiren and Zamasu is adequate because they are different characters with different motivations and backstories. Then comparing Future Zamasu with Present Zamasu i...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I am not interpreting the story; I am reporting what happened. By denying that Zamasu clashed with and held his own against a Bloodlust SSB Goku, you are denying the Canon story presented to us. None is denying that scene happened. Some people here said that all Zamasu did was tank some attacks tha...

Re: Question about Kakarot and Vegeta
No.
While both Gods, I'd wager there's a difference between Zamasu, a natural-borne Kai (so a God by nature), and Beerus, a former-mortal-turned-Deity (so NOT a God by nature).
Assuming that either of them would replace Beerus as Destroyer God naturally, so the same rules would apply.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
So in other words, I would put him on the general range of GoD Toppo, SS2 Kefla and Anilaza (all from the anime), his position there being up to debate. Anilaza can maybe stand a chance against Halo Fused Zamasu but he gets destroyed by Corrupted Zamasu. SSB Vegito > Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, 17, and G...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Black and Zamasu > Caulifla and Kale [the two girls dream of having the feats against SSB Goku that Future Zamasu had, they stood no chance vs. SSG Goku] So by simple logic Fused Zamasu > Kefla at the bare minimum . There is also a rule introduced in the ToP arc that a fused being's strength is also...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
What I am seeing in this thread is intellectual dishonesty at its finest, literally denying what Canon shows us. None is obligated to interpret the story the same as you. Using the “canon” word in your claims doesn’t give you authority to say other opinions are “intelectual dishonest”. It just make...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Then you concede to my point. My point being: SSB Goku > Future Zamasu > SS2 Goku > Present Zamasu Which would make Future Zamasu stronger than SS2 and able to force Goku to go SSB, which is indeed what happened on-screen every time they fought  I suppose Future Zamasu can be stronger than S...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
For someone who appeared only in 8 episodes and fought only in 5 of those episodes (Yes I counted all of them), Future Zamasu has very good feats and statements, easily one of the most underrated characters in Super. Not only does his debut fight involves him putting SSB Goku on the run, and most of...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
This is true. It makes me wonder if going Super Saiyan for Goku Black in the anime doesn't result in a drastic boost given how strong Base Goku Black already was. He was definitely stronger than Super Saiyan God and yet SSJR Goku Black isn't drastically stronger than SSJB Goku initially. What muddi...
